This spur is my favorite go-to - it's soft and rounded, short and controllable as an aid and hasn't been too much for any horse I've used it on. Great quality so far, and I was impressed at how well they bend to accommodate winter and summer boots. Great investment for the price - I bought these as my "try" pair of spurs (I didn't like the cheap-o prince of wales type sets - too sharp for my sensitive mare!) and they have been a great tool, and one I felt safe wearing during the process of learning to ride respectfully with spurs.

I really like these spurs. I was worried because I have big feet, thus a big boot, and they fit nicely!! Very good quality for the price!

I was looking for a medium-length (~1/2") spur that I could use on a variety of different horses. These fit the bill perfectly! The rounded edges make them great even on more sensitive horses. Only note, I have somewhat narrow feet and they are a tiny bit wide on me, but the fit is functional.
