"These are well made breeches. I am short with a full figure pear shape. These fit the best after trying many brands of breeches. The regulars are still a little long as I am 4'9" but they work okay for me. The waist comes up a little high, but again they work ok. I like that the material is thick enough to hide flaws."

"I loved the original Shapely's -- substantial fabric, good fit and a nice length! Admittedly, I'm vertically challenged, so I'm looking for a shorter leg than many. I was thrilled to see that these were made by the original manufacturer. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Though the fabric content is the same as the old ones, the fabric weight is much lighter and flimsier. And, they are several inches longer than my originals which are becoming threadbare and hardly decent for the barn much less for showing ... :( The search continues."

"It's frustrating that we generously-hipped riders have so few options. I know from just looking around that there are lots of us! These breeches are a good fit and a heavier material. However I miss the zippered or angle pockets that On Course Shapely breeches used to have."

"Bought these knee patch & a pair of full seat figurefit breeches together. The full seat are definitely worth the extra money. They fit better, fabric feels stronger, overall seem to be better quality. I sent these back & will stick with the full seat. I love the fit of the figurefit in the fulll seat. These had the extra room, but just were not as good."

"These breeches fit pretty well. I ordered a size 34 L and wear a 16 pant. I have a very hard time fitting my large legs. I wish they would make a lower rise though. The rise still seemed a bit too long for me (but I don't have a belly issue). The rise is at least shorter than the Cotton Naturals Shapely (On Course) - I looked like Erkel in those! Awful! If you need extra belly room they will be fine. I liked how long they were as this is also an issue for me even at 5'6" (all leg).
Quality is what you pay for. It is not the best quality out there, but it is good enough for the price. Over all a good purchase and I may buy more!"

"I had to return the purchase. I'm a problem fit and the fit was the problem. I'm 5'3" and the waist came up to my rib cage. Guess I'm not as full figured as I thought. I can't really rate the product on durability. Quality seemed OK. Price was good. I'm still looking for another pair of breeches."

"I have hips and thighs, so I ordered these hoping for a slightly looser fit than my regular breeches. When I put them on, they were actually tighter than my other breeches and less flattering. I returned them and ordered another pair of my TuffRider Low Rise breeches instead."

"I bought my first pair of these breeches to try out and wear for schooling. I fell in love with the fit and feel right away. They are now my new show breeches and I plan to buy a whole bunch more of them! The price is right, the fit is fabulous and they are very forgiving of any figure fault.
