"The leather on the girth started to crack after 4 months of use. The girth was cleaned and conditioned regularly. I had to buy a different girth and felt like I had wasted $100 on the purchase."

"So far it is working well on my horse who has issues with girth sores only on his right side. Do wish the girth were thicker with more cushioning. But a nice quality for the price, but would have been willing to pay a little more for more padding."

"I bought this girth as it looked good in the picture, and seemed of good quality. When I opened it and went to see how it would be I noticed that it bunched when curved a bit. It looked like it would bother my horse. I want a smooth, leather, somewhat padded girth.
I wouldn't recommend it, but I am very picky."

"I was looking for a quality dressage girth to school and show in so I ordered this one thinking it would be exactly what I wanted. Wellfleet is a reputable brand so I thought I would be pleased with the purchase. Upon arrival in the mail, I couldn't be more disappointed. The topside of the girth looked "just ok", but the underside was even worse. The padding was covered in a cheap, very thin, leather and it wrinkled up terribly when you would bend it in the position it would lay in on the horse. It would have caused nothing but rubs and pinching. I sent it back immediately."
