"Was skeptical that any product could fix my TB mare's issues. I have had her for 9 years, sweetest horse. A few years ago she started getting problematic when she was in heat. Crabby on the ground and under saddle. Tried rasberry leaves for 2 years and they worked pretty good up until this year. I could not let anyone else ride her, she was mean, moving horrible and choppy under saddle. Would not leg yield, horrible canter transitions, alot of ear pinning for everything, and then started staying in heat for weeks at a time....so she was crabby more than sweet. My trainer sent me the advertising for Easy Mare and when I read it, well my horse had all the symptoms listed that this product said it could fix. I read the reviews....all of them and was pleased, but alot said their horses did not seem to like the taste. Well did not have that problem with my mare. She actually pushed her grain aside to eat this first and still loves it. So that was good, but would it work....YES!!! 6 weeks and one heat cycle later and I have my sweet mare back. Our training and progressed two fold since she has been on Easy Mare. She is tracking up like never before, giving me contact, leg yielding, cantering without a fuss and little kids are riding her again. She will be on Easy Mare for life."

"Used this on our mare for one month to try and calm her down. She became extemely moody over the winter and was worried what the spring and summer months would bring. Saw results after the 1st week she was on it. Had to mix it into her feed as did not like the taste by itself, but no issue once mixed in. Tried other herbal supplements with no results. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has an extremely moody mare! Calmed her down so we could continue to show on her and even had an offer on her after her last show. Sold!"

"I decided to try Easy Mare because they said it was also good with Geldings that display Stallion like behavior, which my horse does! I noticed after the first week that my horse seemed so much calmer and more relaxed and less interested in be aggressive towards the horses around him. It has now been a couple of months and he seems great!"

"I purchased this product for my 5yo Haflinger mare who was "falling in love" with whatever horse was in the pasture or stall next to her. When seperated she would have a fit and could be dangerous because she would not pay atention to where her handler was. After about 1 week on Easy Mare she calmed down and is now sensible and attentive. I have used this product on another young mare with bad cycles in the past, that one would bolt and rear under saddle when in heat, Easy mare also made a noteable difference for her."

"My 5 year old Holsteiner is not especially hormonal, but rather she has a stubborn 'all about me' attitude. She's a regular bad girl. She kicks out and doesn't like to stand still in cross ties, is very clingy to other horses, and can be unresponsive. I've had her on Mare Magic, and saw some good results--better attitude. Although I would pay anything to ease her mind, but when I tried the Easy Mare, which is substantially more expensive and requires feeding substantially more product than the Mare Magic, I didn't see the positive changes continue. The smell of the herbs is powerful and the taste of the herbs over powered the taste of her sweet feed. I attempted to introduce it slowly, but my mare, who eats nearly everything, and after trying it out for a whole month, she never did develop a taste for Easy Mare, so the anticipated results were never realized. I even tried airing it out overnight in order for some of the fragrance to dissipate. I'm back to Mare Magic for her."

"This supplement worked well WHEN my mare would eat it. I did notice a change in attitude however it smells bad and is very dry/dusty. I tried mixing it with corn oil, maple syrup and apple butter but my picky eater still didn't eat it. I also split the ration in half and fed am/pm. After 2wks I've given up and am switching to the liquid version to see if she will consume it any better. Again, I DO notice a change in behavior but very hard for her to eat."

"I can not say enough about Hilton Herbs Easy Mare offered by SmartPak! I have a very spirited little mare. I have had her for 4 years, I have trained her completely by myself in multiple disciplines. She is an edgy mare, she is a handful at our boarding barn, she has lots of energy, spirited in hand, and under saddle. I was noticing that she really was not learning and I felt like we were working on the same things everyday! Even with working her an hour to two hours a day, four days a week, it was still hard to harness all of that energy! Tho all that energy was fun on the cross country course, she was not thinking about what she was doing. She was in a hurry, she was such in a hurry that she would spook at things she normally would not care about. People had told me about mare calming supplements before but, I figured with more training and age, that she would calm down. Two years later and no change, I found SmartPak! "I bought it originally because, obviously, I've got a cranky mare. I did not want to resort to using supplements on her but had it on hand should I need it. With some persistant training she's come round well, and even if she isn't feeling well or is moody she's come to terms with I'm not the person she can take it out on.
However, I have had to use Easy Mare -- and not for what it was intentionally made for. And I LOVE IT.
I came home with a load of hay that, unknown to me, was full of horsenettle. The supplier was always good and I had no reason to suspect such poor quality from them. I noticed something was up that evening after I'd put hay out, and my mare was not her usual self. I checked the hay and noticed what I was not prepared to look for. I immediately called the vet and to my horror, they suggested it was "nothing to worry about". My mare did not agree! Because the vet did not help, I was left to my own devices, and did research into what was recommended for treatment. I found NOTHING -- except symptoms of horsenettle consumption.
My mare was displaying the worst. She would not eat, she was very lethargic, she was having trouble breathing and her pupiles were huuuge. She was like this for two days and I was scared horribly.
Knowing what Easy Mare was designed to help with, and knowing nothing else to do, I immediately mixed up a mash of beet pulp, vegetable oil, Easty Mare, and apple cider vinegar for flavor. She ate it over a period of about an hour. When I returned to check on her it was as if she was completely healed of the nettle's effects. She was bright, chipper, active, and hungry again.
I KNOW it was the Easy Mare. Thanks so much. I don't know what I'd have done if I hadn't had this herbal combo, it helped with everything...
Even if you haven't got a moody mare, I would seriously recommend having a few wells of this stuff laying around."

"I have a mare that loves to fight. She is not a bad girl--she just likes to get her own way and will fight for it. She does not have any bad habits--like bucking or rearing or running away, she just does not want to relax and work in frame. We had a complete vet work up and addressed the physical issues. The rest are mental. I was not sure if her hormones were causing her behavior, so I tried this product. Has it made a noticeable difference--no. I choose it because it did not contain ingredients that were sedative in nature. Maybe I need to give it more time."

"I have a teenaged Arab mare who would often have a crabby attitude even when she wasn't in heat. She could be very touchy about being brushed and would snap at me and pin her ears. Simple groundwork would send her into a hissy fit. I started her on Easy Mare this April and she has improved dramatically. Now she LOVES to be groomed & will "groom" anything in sight while I brush her. Aside from that her attitude has improved overall! She is much friendlier and easier to get along with.
As far as palatability, she has no problem eating this powder. To make it easier to eat I split her dose into 2 servings so she isn't getting a big pile of powder at one time."

"I got a 4 year old Thoroughbred rescue from the track that was super aggressive and foul tempered, this product has changed her disposition 100%. She is so much better now that her hormones seem to be evened out. Her heat cycles have been fine she is actually lovable then, it was the rest of the time that she was foul. Now I can pet her, groom her, and feed her without being snapped at or pawed at. Easy mare has made my girl a much easier mare!! "After trying several different "calming" supplements on my excitable 4 yr. gelding, I called the team at Smartpak and asked a few questions.
