"I have my retired TB (who is barefoot behind) on this as well as a 4 yo mare (through SmartCombo). The mare's barefoot and her feet are amazing! Not even chippy after 5 weeks. The TB has TB feet. He didn't make it barefoot in front because of a dropping sole, but his hind feet are great. The sides get a little chippy, but he's got great sole and solid bars. Before starting him on this, his soles were soft and he was getting stone bruises even with shoes on. This, with a good hoof conditioner/hardener routine has been great for him."

"My 11 year old quarter horse gelding was put on Smart Hoof Ultra in April of 2012 . I purchased him in Feb. 2012 and I did not think his hooves were "that bad" but as more grow out took place, it was apparent that he had experienced blow outs and abcesses in his past. After discussing a routine to get him on the right path with the farrier, I chose this product. I could not be more thrilled with the results! Almost a year later he has no cracks, no blow outs, no holes and his hoof wall is amazingly hard, he is hold his shoes on. The farrier is very impressed with this product as well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with week hooves, cracks, etc. This product will save your horse!"

"I added this product to Lego's SmartPak daily to help with cracking and splitting hooves. After only 30 days, Lego's hooves looked amazing!!! My blacksmith, who never gives complements, told me his hooves were in great shape with no chips or cracks. Everyone I ride dressage with even commented on his hooves. "I have a 10 year old Tennessee Walking Horse... He is barefoot and as most know, they wear down their feet! My farrier said he was in danger if needing shoes becuase of now short his feet were and he had no frog growth. Well, lets just say my horse will be on this stuff forever! "I have a 24 year old Missouri Fox Trotter mare that I rescued. At the time of her rescue, she was at a location that was very rocky & her hooves were awful! I would have her trimmed one day & within 2 weeks, her feet would have chunks knocked out. I moved her to a new location with minimal rocks & black dirt farm land. I also got a new farrier & he commented about her thin hoof walls being the reason for the cracks & chunks knocked out. I put her on SmartHoof in January 2013 & by February my farrier commented that her hooves were healthier & the hoof walls were thicker. I will recommend this product to others & will also continue to use it. It made a HUGE difference in my mare's feet in a very short amount of time. No issues with her not eating the pellets either."

"Our farrier suggests that it takes average of 6 months for a new supplement to really absorb correctly into body and have full effect -- but in meantime, our new OTTB gobbled up the SmartHoof pellets without a 2nd glance. I LOVE pellet form as compared to powder -- there is no waste at all and you can visibly see if they have eaten it! His weight and health was not best coming off track so he was having very little hoof growth -- now that his overall health is improving the hoof supplements can only benefit the condition of his feet -- I feel that research has shown that Biotin absolutely has a positive effect on quality of hoof"

"I suppose this is more of an update. Previously I was using the powder version of this supplement but I wasn't sure if my horse was actually eating it (things tend to settle at the bottom of his bucket). So I switched to the pellets and he eats them up without a problem! AND his feet look fantastic - my farrier continues to be in amazed at the turn around since starting this supplement. When I started 7 months ago (powder) his feet were soft, cracking horribly, not able to hold shoes. I noticed a difference within the first shoeing cycle! Love this supplement. As long as I have my horse, he will be getting this!"

"One of my horses actually broke a bone in his foot because he had no hoof wall to take the strain. My farrier couldnt keep shoes on him because there was nothing to hold the nails. Eight months ago I put him on Smart Hoof Pellets and now he has brand new feet! Shoes stay on for the entire six weeks and his hoof walls are strong and thick. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and my farrier even recommends it to his other clients. Thanks Smartpak!"
