"I started my OTTB on SmartHoof as soon as I adopted him in December, 2012...between regular shoeing and now 5 months of SmartHoof, his feet look completely different! They are healthy, strong, shoes stay on for 6 weeks, and they are growing fast. My old OTTB used to loose shoes like clockwork at 3 weeks, but I feel the use of SmartHoof has enabled my new guy to hold on to his shoes and grow out the old, unhealthy hoof into a strong, sold, healthy foot. "I recently picked a horse up with a horrible quarter crack from the previous owners neglect and poor choice in multiple farriers. After only TWO WEEKS of putting him on this supplement and massive repairs by my farrier, the crack in the coronet band has COMPLETELY healed and there is 1/4" of new growth to the hoof. The quarter crack is healing and is growing out at a fast rate. I would recommend this supplement to EVERYONE! It really is life changing as long as you are having proper and consistent farrier work done. I love you SmartPak!"

"My Saddlebred has always had terrible feet, even on supplements! Sometimes it seemed if he looked at water his feet would crumble...imagine trying to bathe him! I had him on two servings of this a day just to see if maybe he could grow a little bit of foot. I had to reduce him to one serving because his feet were growing so fast! And his hoof wall was exponentially stronger too...it wasn't just fast growth. Since I have had him on this supplement his feet have been stronger, grown better all around (even in the heels), and have held shoes whereas before he was throwing shoes left and right. I will continue to keep him on his because it is doing wonders for his feet."

"I put my 3yr old on smarthoof ultra pellets about 4 months ago. He is not in work yet and his feet were so bad I was considering shoes. Even though he is out in pasture on hard ground his feet now look fantastic! No chipping at all! I have another horse who needed pasture lay up and I decided to pull his shoes. His feet totally fell apart. After being on this product is feet look fantastic! My farrier could not be happier. I have used several other hoof supplements over the years and never really saw any marked improvement, so I was reluctant to spend the money. This is the only hoof supplement I will ever buy! You can't go wrong with smartpak's customer service either!!"

"My 17.1 hand thoroughbred grows the hoof of a 12 hand pony. We have tried everything to help get his feet to grow and strengthen but everything has fallen flat. With a quick call to smartpak, I was recommended to try smarthoof ultra because it contains ingredients that other hoof supplements lack. I figured it was worth a shot since we had already tried almost every hoof supplement on the market.
We are only two months into our trial but I am very hopeful that we have found a winning combination with smartsox and smarthoof. Plus, my big guy loves the pellets!"

"It's been a extremely wet year down here.... both of my horses have had brittle soft hoof that were taking a long time to grow.... I started Smart Hoof Ultra Pellets not that long ago, major improvement since, although it continues to rain and the ground is moist, I have noticed a major improvement in growth and less brittle. They love the taste I never find not even one crumb!! Great Job Smart Pak!! I love the convenience of it being on auto-ship....one less thing to worry about!!"

"I was super excited to try this product on a mare that really could use it but she would not eat it, I was very dissapointed 'cause she is NOT a picky eater!!!! "My horse has developed problem hooves over the past few years. Crumbly soles and always seeming to have thrush. After trying a bunch of different treatments I decided to try a supplement. Hes been on it now for a few.months and im already noticing his hooves appear in much better contition, theres still a ways to go but so far so good. And the pellets ensure he gets all supplement and makes it easier to feed a picky eater :-)"

"Smart Hoof Ultra is a wonderful product! I have a thirteen year old paint mare that I had a terrible time keeping good hooves on. If I tried to have shoes put on her they would be falling off in four weeks with her hooves very split and brittle looking. After three weeks of using this product I could see a visible amount of new hoof growing in, the contrast was amazing! She is now wearing her shoes for six weeks without even a single crack or loose nail! She can also go barefooted and be very happy. Penny and I both want to thank-you for a super product!"

"I do believe that the product does a great job improving the quality of hoof grown. My horse had two quarter cracks and needed to grow hoof as quickly as possible. This did the trick.
That being said, I strongly disagree with this product being labeled picky eater approved! I have a 5 yr old APHA gelding that isn't a picky eater at all and he refused for a week to eat because of the smell of this product. He finally began eating it when I put it in sweet feed, and even then he was reluctant.
I will by this product again because of the improvement I saw in the hooves... that's more important to me than palatability."

"Bought this in the smartpak form with another supplement. It's easy to feed and has a smell to it that I find somewhat pleasant. My horse, an OTTB, gobbles it up! He's only been on it for about a month, but I am starting to see a slight difference in his hooves. This summer was brutal hot and dry for his hooves, and this seems to be slowly growing stronger hooves. Will need a longer time on this supplement to know for sure, but looks promising!"

"My Gelding has horrible feet, they chip and crack constantly! I started him on this about three months ago and can see in his feet where the new hoof is growing in because the cracks stop there! In another month or trim cycle he should be rid of all his "bad" hoof! I would recommend this supplement to anyone who wants the best hoof support for their horse! Smartpak provides the best quality product at the best price (trust me I did a lot of comparing before I bought!) I marked it down one on palatability because my gelding does not want to eat it by itself but has no problem eating it mixed in with some grain."
