"My OTTB gelding had a 20% tear to his deep digital flexor tendon in October. I put him on Smart Tendon and Smart MSM about a month after the injury. He gobbles it up, with no problem.
Although I don't think the supplements helped him heal any faster, I do notice that he has less swelling and discomfort on the supplements.
For example, after he was healed, I went about a week without them to see if there was any noticeable difference, and their was - I noticed increased soreness and discomfort, and once I put him back on it, he seemed much more comfortable.
After 4 months of hand walking and him in a private run - no stall rest and no PRP - he healed completely, with an expected amount of scar tissue. I'm happy with how he healed, and I think the SmartPak supplements certainly helped him remain comfortable, reduce imflamation, and support his healing. I will keep using Smart Tendon and Smart MSM for the rest of his life!"

"My mare Lilly tore her suspensory and I decided we needed a little extra something to help her heal. Well we just had our first check up and she has had "remarkable progress" and I have to think that SmartTendon played a big role. I intend to keep her on it to help us get back to competition!"

"I started using SmartTendon on my injury-prone mare 4 months ago. She crushed the tendons in her rear left leg a few years ago. She healed sound but with an ugly blemish. This winter she punctured the tendons in her right front. I started looking for a soft tissue specific supplement to put her on and found SmartTendon. She healed faster than I expected and with no blemishes. All of her legs look great. I like the results so much I just put my other hard working mare on it as a preventative."

"My 17 year old quarter horse gelding sustained a serious bowed tendon around the end of November last year. From November to January he didn't seem to be getting any better; even with two months of stall rest he was still lame and swollen/hot. I never believed in supplements, but as a desperate measure I bought SmartTendon. The results were absolutely incredible. Since two weeks after I started him on the supplements the swelling went away as well as the heat, and four months later he is back to regular flatwork (w/j/l) with NO lameness or swelling whatsoever! I've recommended this product to everyone I know and hope this review persuades anybody looking. WORTH THE MONEY!!!"

"My horse had laminitis. She walked like an old lady, barely. Had the vet out twice, gave her bute. I had her stall for several weeks. Then I went online to see what more could I do for her. Found tendon Smart Pak. Thought I give it a try. The product came the same day the farrier came out and put clogs on her. So between the product and clogs she was walking again after 4-5 days later. Its been 30 days and she walking and running like she did before. I would use this product again."

"My Percheron/Arabian cross is 17 and last year I thought I was going to have to retire him early. His hind leg started giving out on him and it was very inconsistent. I had the vet out multiple times for soundness exams, x-rays, injections, only to come up empty on diagnosis. I also gave him time off which did not help either. Since I knew it was not his joints causing the stumbles I decided to see if it was his tendons and/or ligments and try him on some supplements for support. I started him on Smart Tendon 3 months ago and I have seen quite an improvement in his movement. His stumbling has reduced greatly and improves every month. I could not be more happier with this product."

"I have a gorgeous young WB mare who likes to play hard, and unfortunately has whacked herself a number of times, resulting in some soft tissue injuries, none of them, thank goodness, detrimental, but enough to a) cause me to bubble wrap her (i.e. Eskadron boots...) and b) wanting to resolve some residual puffiness that has persisted after the actual injury had long healed.
I started her on SmartTendon about 4.5 weeks ago and for the last week have noticed that her tight legs have returned consistently. Still some puffiness occasionally after work, but not always, and the next day it's been all the way gone. I am hoping that with consistent use we can get rid of any sign of stress in that area as well as prevent any future issues. (wishful thinking anyway.)
She does not like to eat the SmartTendon pellets by themselves, but mixed in a handful of her LMF low carb & water it's a non-issue."

"My mare fractured a splint bone in August. We had the bone fragment surgically removed in September, but there was some remaining soft tissue damage surrounding the area. After months of standing wraps, sweat wraps, cold hosing, etc. she was still swollen/puffy from her fetlock halfway up the back of her lower leg. She has been on Smart Tendon for less than 3 weeks and the puffiness is almost gone! Plus, she is noticeably more sound! With the continued support of Smart Tendon, I'm confident she'll be ready to ride by spring!"

"I am more than impressed with this supplement! My 22 (almost 23) year old Thoroughbred mare strained multiple tendons in both front legs from falling while I was riding her (she tripped over deep footing while cantering and fell to her knees and face). After the initial 30 days of stall rest, Ollie had shown no improvement... the vet didn't think she was going to recover fully from it. He even sugested that after the next 30 days, if there still wasn't any improvement that we euthanize my horse. So I decided I would put her on this supplement thinking that it probably doesn't work, but it won't hurt to try. 30 days later the vet came out and rechecked Ollie and she is fully recovered! We are now beginning her rehab!"

"Smart Tendon is a good product for reasonable price. When I began buying supplements for my mare, I started wtih Smart Tendon. I saw improvement but she needed more than just this. So I added Smart TLC. Those two products provided her much comfort, but for her particular problem she still needed more. Those two products are a great choice for an owner who is budget minded, or for a horse with typical stiffness issues. You will be 100 percent satisfied with Smart Tendon and Smart TLC. Another product that gave tremendous benefit but costs more is Smart Sox. These three products are incredable and top-of-the-line. My three horses had noticable improvement with these three products for comfort and mobility."

"My mare has only been on this supplement for 30 days, but I think it is helping. She was kicked in the field last June and ended up with a broken splint bone in her left hind leg. It required surgery to remove the 3 broken pieces and then lots of stall rest, then gradual hand walking. It's Oct. and we are just now starting to ride at a walk. She became "wrap-dependant" and just had to go cold turkey without a wrap for about 5 days before the swelling really went down. Her tendon seemed a little swollen and sore so I thought I'd try this product to promote complete healing of her injury. Will keep her on this as long as it seems necessary."
