"These are very comfortable socks but they do run large, especially in the toes, and do not fit in my paddock boots. I've sent them through the dryer twice hoping to shrink them but they are the same size. That does speak to the high quality and given that the Dubarry boots have a wider toe box the socks do fit nicely in them; I had wanted them for cold weather riding though..."

"I was excited to receive my Dubarry socks, but I wasn't as impressed with them as I thought I would be. They are thick and are warm, but they are rather large and a little sloppy. I thought they'd be as tall as normal boot socks, but they only come about mid-calf... and are not real snug-fitting, so they slide down in my boots and end up kind of crumpled up and uncomfortable."

"I bought this sock based on the picture that showed it was a knee high sock. When the socks arrived, I discovered they were NOT knee high. I have no real experience with them as I returned them for another brand, which also was NOT knee high, even though they were advertised that way. What is wrong with socks makers that they don't make actual knee high socks any more?"

"I was anxious to try them because they advertised extra padding in the heal (where my socks always wear out). There is some and time will tell. I bought the small size (size 6 shoe) and they were bit big. The weave was looser and weren't as soft and padded as I expected. They come up only to the "fat" part of the calf and are thick to go under my wonderful DuBerry boots. I can find better boot socks for me locally for less than $20.00"

"These are super plush and comfy. They run large. though. I'm an 8.5-9, and will order the small next time instead of the medium. I air-dry socks like this, though."
