Petrie Olympic Dressage Boot
Petrie boots have been handmade in Holland by master craftsmen since 1857. They are styled for the dressage rider with the outside of the boot cut higher and with a stiffener in the back to aid in the correct leg position. **This item will ship from the Manufacturer in 2 weeks if they have stock. It will ship in 8-20 weeks if they do not have stock**

"I bought my first pair of Petrie boots in 1997. Loved them! However, they didn't have the spanish top and became too short. I then bought Königs Reitstiefel boots, but they never compared to the comfort of my Petries. I finally decided to buy new boots and tried MH Victoria and Ariats. I really liked the MH boots, but they are so soft! I went ahead and ordered new Petries. Love them right away! No comparison! Awesome, well made, comfortable boots. They fit ssoo good!"

"These boot fit a bit tight, which means they will be perfect when completely broken in. I found the break in period to be shorter than my last Petries, these are very close to being perfect. In fact, they're so gorgeous, I almost wore them to a party! One thing, they are not "stovepipe" stiff like my older pair but because they are so slim in the ankle and calf, I expect them to eventually be more comfortable. The foot bed is super comfy. I can't attest to the durability as I have only had them 2 months."

"Lovely boots, and Smartpak customer service was great! The first pair I ordered weren't quite the right size: the customer service agent was very friendly and helpful over the phone, return shipping was easy, and my replacement boots were delivered in a timely manner. I can't comment on the durability yet, but the leather quality is good, they are well-constructed and the zippers seem sturdy."

"Now I know why good dressage boots are stiff: they help your leg position! And the cut of these are very flattering, so they help me look better as I ride better. I was able to find a size that fits me perfectly, and they're breaking in very nicely. They look (and fit) like a pair of custom boots at a significant savings. I'd definitely buy these again."

"I love these boots, but what I love even more is the customer service of SmartPaks. I ordered online a pair which turned out to be alittle too big. When I contacted SmartPaks about an exchange, they facilitated the transaction smoothly. The boots are dropped shipped from the Petrie distributer but Smartpaks talked to them and got a return number and also found out if they had the size I needed and had them hold them for me until my other boots reached them. Both sets of boots arrived within 5 days of my order. They hedge with saying 2 to 10 weeks for delivery but I was amazed at how fast I received my boots. I had ordered them early in December since I was thinking I wouldn't have them until the start of show season in March.
As for the boots, they are well made and stylish. The leather is great quality and as they will be my show boots, should last me a long long time. Love SmartPaks and love the boots!!"

"First of all, I waited 3 months to receive these boots. I liked the fact that they had a lot of sizes to choose from thinking that they wouldn't take as long as custom boots. Now, after only 4 months of light use, the zipper slide broke and Petrie could care less!!! I have had them repaired at my own expense and I am NOT happy about Petrie's attitude on this purchase. I will never buy another Petrie product. I do not recommend these boots."
