"I wanted the Spooner leathers, which were a little more affordable, but Smartpak was out and I needed leathers ASAP for a show. These arrived 2 days after I placed the standard order, which was awesome! They are the softest leather so they won't scratch my saddle and they are very comfortable to ride in. The downsides: buckles are hard to adjust when mounted and the leather is so flexible that it's rather hard to put them on. I hope they last a very long time for the price. I've only had them for a month."

"Antares leather is amazing and these are no exception. I purchased the Brown color and am working on darkening them to match my saddle. The leather is sooo soft. I am 5'11" and I purchased the 54". For you tall riders, I have just barely enough tail to tuck in."

"I've always had issues with my stirrup leathers stretching, but these haven't stretched at all after 2 months of almost daily use. Pairing these leathers with my calfskin Beval saddle has made me feel more secure when riding, as the leathers seem like they grip to my saddle. They only need a coat or two of oil to break in, and the color darkens nicely to match most calfskin saddles too. They are by no means a bargain at $200, but I'm starting to think they are worth it!"

"I bought these leathers to go with my amazing Antares saddle and they are great! only problem with them is that they like don't stop stretching.. i have had to switch them at least 5 times in the last year and they still continue to stretch.. i do have both weighted irons and light plastic irons and the weighted ones might have caused a little extra stretching since they weigh a good pound."

"Excellent stirrup leathers. Leather is strong yet soft to touch. Matches Antares saddle perfectly after oiled. One caution, they do run short. I'm 5'7'' and definitely needed 54" which left just enough leather to thread through keeper on saddle. (Brown comes is 48" or 54") Very pleased overall"

"I love these leathers and they match my Antares saddle beautifully. The downside: They run short. I have always used 48" leathers but the 48" Antares Leathers actually measure 46" I had no issue exchanging them for the 54" ones which in actuality are about 50" They work great--No stretching. Please note they are calfskin so can be easily damaged by rubbing but if you take care of them they hold up very well. I have been riding in the 5 days a week for three months and they still look virtually new!"

"These are well made leathers that look like they will hold up for a long time. I like to buy lined leathers to minimize stretching. I have only had these a few weeks, so I won't know for about stretching for a while. These are some of the more expensive lined leathers I have found. Antares has a good reputation, so I decided to give them a try even though they are spendy."

"I got these leathers after I purchased my Antares Jumping saddle. They came to me and were a light color. I used two coats of the Antares oil and it darkened perfectly! Highly recommend using the Antares oil on any Antares leather. It seems to work a lot better in getting your desired results. I am 5`9" and ordered the 54. When I first got into my saddle, I had to adjust the leathers almost to the last hole. I got worried they were too short. BUT they did fit with about 5 holes left to lengthen and I like how there is not this extra long "tail" hanging out of my saddle. Not disappointed at all but if you are tall, order the longest leathers!"

"I purchased these to use on my Butet after having disappointing results with the Beval leathers and they are perfect. One coat of oil was all they needed to match my saddle exactly. The half-holed distances are very easy to adjust and they haven't pulled, stretched, or come apart at all. I highly recommend these for any Butet or Antares saddle!"
