Life Data Hoof Disinfectant™
Every day, millions of bacteria and fungi assault the horse's hoof, looking for an opportunity to gain entrance through a nail hole or a crack. well I think it was ok, hard to tell because I have been doing a few things. I was told it would come with an applicator and it did not. When I called, the gal was nice, but when she checked into it she found that the newer bottles did not have them.... she suggested I use a sponge to apply which it was ok but a little messy. I wish they did come with an applicator....

I am using this on my rescue mare, who arrived with a nasty case of thrush. One day after the first application, her frog is dry (but not too dry), with no stinky yuck to be found. I will continue to use daily for a while, but I am convinced this product will clear up the thrush completely in a short time. I used a small paint brush to soak it into all the nooks and crannies.

Having read the other reviews about the 'daubber' I quickly transferred mine into a small spray bottle. It goes on easy and I use an old toothbrush to get it into the nail holes and along the frog. I simply spray and brush. I think it has improved my horse's hooves.

This is a fantastic product. Can't believe how it improved my horses feet, and in just a short time. Only thing, get rid of the dauber and use a small brush, something about 1/2" wide works great.

This should not be sold in the current packaging. On my first use, half the bottle emptied because it tipped over. It should be sold in a squeeze bottle and the label bled all over my hand. The sponge tip applicator isn't necessary. It just gets dirtier and dirtier as you use it and put it back in the bottle. I think I will stick with the Bannix.

I got this as thrush preventative as we've had lots of mud. I didn't think my horses' hooves looked too bad until I started using this and saw a complete transformation. After using this for a week, though, I noticed a huge difference. I can't explain what it did, but my horses' hooves look so much better now. One the horse prone to issues, I apply it daily right now. On the other horse, I've been applying this twice a week for a few weeks. I love it and will keep using it.

This product is wonderful, minus the cotton ball applicator - it soaks up more product than you need, so then you need to squeeze it off on the side of the bottle which then can dribble down the side....
Overall, good product, seems to be doing the trick, but why didn't they put it in a bottle with a brush similar to what Hooflex has?

I use this with the farrier's Formula and I have noticed amazing changes in my horses feet. My horse has super difficult feet to maintain and the look the best that they ever have. The farrier now has something to shape and trim and not only adding plastic. I love this product!

White Line crippled my son's good rope horse. This stuff killed the white line and we were back on the horse in two months. With weekly application the white line has not returned. I treat all my horses with it and I have not had thrush or white line in any of them.

My farrier recommended this for treatment of fungus and early signs of possible white line problems. So far, the treatment seems to be going well, but I won't know for sure until the farrier comes back out next month. Only minor complaint is that the applicator swab absorbs far more product than I actually need so I have to spend some time squeezing the excess back into the bottle without making a mess. On the bright side, a little goes a long way, so the value is excellent.

I really like this product. My horse gets thrush a lot and of all the things I've tried this stuff works the best. The smell is awful but the product is effective and you see results overnight. I put it in a spray bottle to apply it more easily, works a lot better that way. Will always have this in my tack trunk!

I decided to try this when my tried-and-true thrush remedy wasn't working. It does seem to be clearing up a very resistant case of thrush, although it's taking some time--not a quick fix. I would have preferred a nozzle-type applicator, as my horse has deep frog crevices and wears pads in the front. (I ended up having to use a syringe to apply the product properly where it was needed.) Still, it's doing the job, and I have no problem giving this product a 5-star recommendation.

My horse is newly barefoot (less than a year) and I've been using this through the winter months which in my part of the world are rainy, muddy and cold. He's had no thrush at all-- this stuff helps keep his feet bacteria free. It's thick so it stays put and you only need a small amount on either side of the frog. I use it daily!

My daughter's gelding struggled with poor hoof walls, almost like white line disease. This product has greatly improved his feet. It is the first hoof product that I could see a huge difference in. It works wonders with regular use--we use it about 3 times per week.

I bought this product as a less caustic treatment for some thrush my horse had. Following the recommended application, I was able to clear up the thrush within a short time. I kept applying it afterwards to all his feet as a preventative and did not notice any bad side effects (drying, etc). Very pleased! The applicator was also very convenient to use in tight corners where it can be hard to reach!
