"I did a feed checker with feedxl online and my horse kept coming up deficient in multiple vitamins. He was on grain but I was not going to give him 8 pounds of senior a day just to get all of his vitamins. So I started giving him smartvite maintenance and he is supplemented perfectly. His coat looks great and he is in great shape!"

"My horse doesn't get any grain, and I normally have him on Smartvite Performance, but he's been on stall rest for a couple months due to a minor injury and his energy levels were through the roof! Switched him to the Maintenance formula and he's a much more manageable horse now. He still looks great with a nice shiny coat, and has kept his weight, so I'll keep him on this formula during his rehab/light work and switch him back to the Performance formula when he is back in full work. I love the Smartvite line of supplements!"

"I just started two horses on this product. I chose this product because I was concerned about vitamin and mineral requirements. So far, I can say it arrived fresh and they eat it fine. Maybe after they eat the product for a few months, I will have a better idea of how it affects them. It is too soon to tell."

"There was nothing wrong with the product, but my chow hound wouldn't eat it unless it had rather a lot of molasses on it.
But I will say that SmartPak was totally awesome about switching us to a different vitamin supplement and sending it out right away."

"I recently switched to the maintenance pellet from the performance pellet because my horse and I will be taking it easy this year while I focus on raising a family. I didn't see the need to keep his vitamin levels at the performance level if he will not be working as hard. So far, the change has been positive, keeping his coat and hooves healthy, and his overall health good, without adding things he doesn't need. Next year when we're competing hard again he will go back on the performance pellet. I love the Smart line of supplements, and this one is no different!"

"I switched to this after finding the other multivitamin I was using wasn't providing what my horse needed. It is palatable and easy to feed. When looking at it and my forage analysis, it provides all necessary vitamins and minerals -- the only exception is that based on my forage analysis I will need to supplement with extra A, D, and E during the winter months. I intend to keep my horse on this supplement."

"As they come off the grass every fall, one of our horses gets the squirts from nibbling every leaf that he can find and gnawing on tree bark. Putting him on a vitamin supplement really helped stop his cravings for the things that upset his system."

"My Oldenburg Dani is a very easy keeper, and gets little grain. I worry about her getting the nutrition she needs, especially in the winter months where there is no grass to graze. Our hay is good thankfully. So giving her the grass pellets helps make sure she is getting what she needs.

"I purchased this for my 3yr old mini gelding, who is an extremely easy keeper. He needs this to get all the good stuff, and it works great! It is inexpensive and effective. Only thing is Ambassador doesn't like the taste, and he's normally not a picky eater at all. Overall great job Smartpak!"

"Our Mare-Imagine had been sick for 6 mos. She had to be on heavy antibiotics for a staff infection. Her coat and overall attitude lacked luster. She had no energy at all and just was not her self. "It's hard to tell if this supplement is making any difference as my mare is an easy keeper, but as a nurse I realize the importance of taking a daily multi-vitamin and hope to prevent some issues by using this product. My mare will eat this straight up and I don't have to mix it with any grain. Not that she's a picky eater, but it does appear to be very palatable as my new horse eats it up also."

"I discovered smartpak by redeeming a $50 gift certificate I won at a fundraiser to support our local horse rescue. That was four years ago and have been a loyal customer since! I switched my mustang/arab cross from Smartvite Maintenance Alfalfa pellets to Smartvite Maintence Grass pellets when my vet recommended a diet change a few months back. My guy loves the taste of his "morning treats" and has never looked better. His liver chestnut coat dappled this summer and my farrier complains his feet are much tougher to trim. This product in addition to smartcalm makes him the perfect gentlemen in my pasture."
