"I switched my dark bay mare to Grand Coat at the end of this summer. I have used many different coat supplements in past, including supplements made specifically for bays. NOTHING has worked as well or as quickly as Grand Coat! She was fully clipped about 3 weeks after starting her on it and her coat has never been so vibrant, dark and shiny! She usually turns a dull gray so I was shocked. I get compliments everyday from my barn mates and no one even noticed that she was clipped until I told them! My mare also had no trouble eating the powder. It's a little more expensive than other comparable supplements but trust me it's worth the money!"

"I had my Morgan on Grand Complete and to cut costs I switched him to Grand Coat. (He really only needs a coat supplement at this point.) I didn't really notice a huge difference. His coat is a little shinier, but his skin is still dry, and he still has dandruff. I am currently on a quest to find a better skin and coat supplement. He rubs his tail a lot and I am trying everything to discourage that because I do show him during show season, and his tail needs to be braided. He also seems itchy all the time. I did notice that his hair grows faster when he is on Grand Coat. I would recommend this supplement to a friend! :)"

"I bought this for the omega fatty acids in it. My palomino appaloosa mare has developed an irregular heartbeat and my vet suggested an omega supplement to help with that. I chose this product because of the amount of omegas in it. I has brought out a beautiful golden luster to her coat. She shed out quickly and is gleaming"

"I switched this product out for a month for my horse's usual coat product, Mirra-Coat. I didn't want to use this as it contains flaxseed, which mimics estrogen in the body, but I did like the addition of the yeast, so I tried it. My horse was particulary dry skinned this winter and spring, I think due to the dry air. No change on the Grand Coat, but when I went back to the Mirra-Coat his coat bloomed,so maybe he just needed a break from it in order for it to be effective again."

"Started my beautiful Appendix filly yearling on Grand Coat one month ago. She is quite picky about her food, but took nicely to Grand Coat after only a few servings of it mixed in with her feed. Have already noticed her coat deepening and looking healthier and shiny. We're in shedding season now, but cannot wait to see what her coat looks like when she sheds out!!!"

"This product made my horse very gassy; unfortunately, he has a tendency towards flatulence and this exacerbated it! We took him off it after a week or so. The form forced me to I had to give it product ratings, even thought we were only on it a short time, so I chose 3 Stars truly he was not on it long enough to make a fair assessment of the product. SmartPak was great to deal with - they credited the full amount of the purchase price."

"We have been using Grand Coat for several years now. When we first got our horse his skin was very dry and flakey, especially around his mane. We started using Grand Coat and after awhile we noticed the flakes were gone and his coat had a shine that wasn't there before. I would highly reccommend Grand Coat."

"My horse would not eat this supplement and went off his food. Had to try four different kinds off food before he would start eating grain again. Never had him go off his food before. Smell of it is very strong. It was an expensive and stressful issue. Cost me wasting other supplements and money!"

"Just rating this three stars because I put 3 horses on this product - 2 lost their shine (these two were previously on SmartShine) and the one does very well on it. It does seem to help tails grow though. Unfortunately, none of the horses really liked the flavor and it is a lot of powder - 2 wells. Went back to SmartShine!"

"I have never used a coat supplement before but my horse's coat was always dull and just blah. I have a grey Polish Arabian and after feeding Grand Coat combined with Grand Complete for 2 weeks I noticed a HUGE difference! His coat is very white now and has a beautiful shine to it which he has never gotten on his winter coat. It's also very soft to the touch and I even noticed that his black points are becoming more prominent especially around his eyes, his nose and on his legs. I am extremely pleased with this product and I will continue to use it!"

"I use only Grand Meadows supplements. When I bought my new boy, his coat was dull and thin. On all my previous horses, I just used Grand Complete and Grand Hoof together but I decided to buy Grand Coat to get him jump started. Everyone at the barn continually complements him on how soft and shiny he is. His mane and forelock are growing at great speeds and are very thick so much that he keeps getting it caught on tree branches and pulling it out. I'm braiding this weekend!! Will add pictures later."

"I bought this for my 6 yo, 17.2hh shire/tb (Bear) who had very dry, flaky skin like I had never seen before! So I added it to his smartpaks as well as my 17 yo dutch warmblood's (Major). Bear's coat is pristine now! No flaking at all any more, and he is more shiny in less than a month!! Major had a gleaming coat to begin with so I saw no change in his. I did switch to Black as Knight for Major, and I think I will do so for Bear as well because I thought Grand Coat would help with that as well but it didn't, so I got what I wanted out of it and now I'm going to try something else. I hope it works as well! Overall I would recommend it to any one with a horse who doesn't need help maintaining a black coat."
