SmartCanine Joint Ultra is a comprehensive joint formula offering a higher level of support for older dogs or dogs that are highly active. "I purchased these to use for my Whippet who has some arthritis in her shoulder. I think they are helping but she is a very picky eater and it's almost impossible to get her to eat her dinner with these. I started disguising them in pill pockets and that's worked. Going to try something else to see if she finds them more palatable. But I do think they help."

"My Airedale is 11 1/2 he couldn't even get up on his own we had to get a harness to help him. After about a week he is now getting up and can go up and down the few steps we have. He used to fall if he stood to long and he hasn't fallen lately either. Seems to be GREAT!!!"

"My 9 yr old Belgian Malinios began having trouble with her hips about a year ago. I have tried several different joint products that did nothing but burn a hole in my wallet. While this one is also costly, it seems to be helping. After a rousing game of "Fletch the Ball", she has not been as sore in the hind end and moves better."

"I put my 11 year old Labrador on this about a month ago, and WOW we have seen an amazing transformation. Our dog has an addiction to chasing things, tennis balls, squirrels etc and got to the point where she could only handle doing it for about 10 minutes until she showed signs of pain. At points she wouldn't even use her hind leg. We've had her out running around for hours and she hasn't missed a step yet, and has not limped at ALL. I'm totally amazed on how well it has worked and have ordered more supplements for my other dog!"

"My dog never eats pills, we always have to coat her monthly de-wormer pills in peanut butter or something to get her to take them, its a hassle, I was apprehensive about getting her to take 5 of these pills a day - turns out she loves them. I mix them in with her AM food and she eats them right up. I do feel she is more comfortable and not as restricted in her movement since starting on the pills 6 months ago."

"My 75# dobie was recovering from a broken hind leg when he was fitted for an orthopedic brace to wear after the cast came off. The brace caused a severe rub infection on his hock. Between the healing broken bone and a really bad infection, his leg was a mess. I started him on Joint Ultra for the stiffness and limping caused by those issues. Within a week, I saw a big improvement in both. The stiffness has almost disappeared and he limps only after too much activity. I would definitely recommend this product."

"Too soon to tell if this supplement is helping my dog more than her previous joint pill. The supplement from our vet had just glucosamine & chondroitin, so I was happy to find this one with MSM & hylaronic acid as well. I was disappointed to find these tablets are super stinky. Like a nasty, chemical smell. My dog normally is not picky and will eat any medication you put in front of her, but she is eating around these and shoving them out of her bowl if I don't watch her like a hawk. Most other supplements/medications for dogs are beef or pork flavored. This supplement is not cheap and for the price I expected them to be more palatable."

"I have been using Joint Ultra along with Maxiderm (for her skin issues) for my 8 yr old Shepherd for one month now. She has bad hips and before starting, it was a struggle for her to get up. Once up she moved slowly and stood in a hunched position to take the weight off her hind end. After one month on Joint Ultra she is like a new dog. She can hop up from a lying position, run after squirrels again, and her back has begun to flatten out since she is now standing more square. She has no problems eating it, but i've always mixed it in with her morning kibble and a bit of soft food. We've spent a lot of money on joint supplements and this was the first one that really worked!"

"Our 13 year old black lab has been slowing down and the vet suggested a joint supplement. Since we already get equine supplements from SmartPak and have been completely satisfied, it was the logical choice.
Smart Canine Joint Ultra had all the necessary ingredients. He has been on the supplement for over a month and is maneuvering the stairs more competently and is even chasing a ball again. "My dog is six yrs. old and has very bad hips. She is worse in summer and I started this product before it got hot, and she is definitely doing better than usual. My only issue with the product is that she is not real fond of the taste so I do have to mix something in with it and her dry food to get her to eat it."

"One of my whippets was diagnosed with 2 compressed disks and was depressed and in obvious pain. Just a few weeks after starting Joint Ultra along with restricted activity, his tail is wagging and, even though I have to stop him, he wants to play again with my other whippet. "I couldn't find any supplements with HA and MSM at my local pet store for my older Cocker who has some joint issues. She recently did a partial tear of her CCL, and due to anesthesia sensitivity, the vet and I decided against a surgical repair. He mentioned putting her on something to support her good knee to prevent problems. I found this had everything of the more expensive brands and more! The tablets break down into smaller pieces very easily which is important for my old girl as she's missing several teeth. I just break them into quarters and mix them in with her kibble and she eats them right up! She's been on them for a month and already moving better!"

"I switched over to this product (from Cosequin) due to the HA/MSM and what a difference !! One of my aussies is on Rimidyl and with this product having the added HA/MSM, she is even more comfortable. My other aussie is just on it for maitience/age.
The only neg. I can say is the smell/taste of these pills. I really have to disguise them in peanut butter to get them to eat their "treat"
Overall, great product and I would reccomend to my friends."
