Bute is a must have in any feed room. I have an older TB with occasional stiffness, so I keep Orange Flavored Bute handy for his relief. I like the flavored bute because it is easy to slip into his supplements.

My 30+ year old pony is on Bute intermittently. This citrus powder is a great choice. It's easy to measure and easy to mix in his feed so he gets all of it.

It works and my horse will eat it. Easy to administer since I can just splash some water on a little feed and sprinkle the powder over it. No messy melting pills, sucking up the medicine with apple sauce and squirting into the horses mouth. No waste.

My horse is on long term bute for a degenerative problem and the smartpaks make giving it to her a lot easier. I add it to her oats and supplements and use oil or applesauce to mix it in and she has no problem finishing it up.

My horse has no question about the flavor of this bute powder. :) Highly palatable, def recommend, esp if you need it for long term as it is more economical than the paste.

Easy to use powder with scoop. The scoop is bigger than expected as the bute is mixed with the flavoring and biding ingredient. I haven't tasted it so can't comment on the flavor but my horse seems to eat it okay.

Had my 27yr old mare on maintenance dose of apple flavored bute from my vet so I wasn't sure Tinker was going to like the new flavor. She did balk at first but readily is taking it now with her Senior Flex and her senior food. She is very comfortable and back to her old self.

I use Bute for my horse that has navicular. I really like the bulk Citrus powder. It save me a little bit of money and I easily change her dosage as needed. It is easy to reorder online and comes very quickly.

I buy the 2.2lbs. size and give to my horse 2x a day. This product is so much easier than the pills and more is consumed. The citrus flavoring helps. My horse has Navicular so it does not fix anything, but does often help.

I was a bit disappointed with this product- it is much less concentrated than other bute powders that I have used so you need a huge scoop to administer 1 gram. I thought it might be a better value than the compounding pharmacy, but you are not getting more medication, just more powder, so it's actually quite a bit more expensive. Also, my mare doesn't like the citrus flavor so I have to syringe it in (although to be fair, she won't eat any other flavored bute either.)

Excellent relief for ringbone. one scoop in Am and one in PM. This takes the edge off the pain, his trot goes from edgy to a smooth trot. I only seem to need this in the warm months. The product is very easy to use, mixes easy and he seems to like the flavor. With other products he is very good at eating around them leaving the powder in his feed bucket. This product seems to do the trick

My retired jumper requires a gram of bute morning and night due to an old injury and I'm constantly running to the vet to get more so I don't run out. It was very easy to submit the prescription and add it to his daily AM and PM SmartPaks and the cost was very comparable to what I pay for the big tubs of bute. I love that it's pre-measured so I know he's getting the right amount and I don't have to worry about running out since it's included with his SmartPak.
The Citrus flavor is great and he loves it. I never have a problem getting him to lick his bucket clean. I love the SmartGut too, which is also given AM & PM in conjunction with the bute so I know that his stomach is protected as much as possible. Thank you for offering such great products at affordable prices. I wish I thought about adding it to his SmartPak a long time ago!

I have a horse who will lick the apple flavored powder from your hand but she won't touch this citrus powder. Bute powder used to be available in a concentrated form so you only gave a tiny bit of powder to equal 1 gram. Now the scoop size is triple what it used to be so you have to get the horse to eat a lot of the powder. And citrus flavor? Come on, horses don't eat lemons and grapefruit. Mine won't touch feed if the citrus powder is in it but they never had a problem with apple. Overall, this was a waste of money for me because every dose ends up dumped on the stall floor. Will go back to trying to buy the apple flavored powder.

I have used this vet recommend bute product for several years for my 20 year old Quarter Horse with navicular. It does not seem to upset his tummy, he has a small dose everyday, he is "'sound" and ridable. I do not show him any longer, he was my first Dressage Show horse. We go on trail rides and my grandchildren think he is wonderful. This med along with good diet and corrective shoeing have kept him happy and healthy.

This is a huge container that costs the same as a small container from my vet. Also Smart Pak called the vet for me to get the prescription faster.
