"I did a test month of this product to see if I could detect a difference in the performance of a horse that has every winter off and comes back to work with some issues every spring. I knew exactly what to expect, and hoped for a different experience with this product, and it delivered!
If you're scouring the supplement aisles for a product that won't test, has all the supportive ingredients and a high amount of MSM for inflammation for any reason, this is a great product! They seem to like to eat it, and I did see a real difference with my horse during use. A lot of these products seem to do little or nothing for those "start stiff" "hocks a little puffy" "has off days" or just "is getting a little old" horses, but this one I saw a difference for 4 of the 5 horses I tried it on, which had known issues that could be helped by the ingredients. Thanks again, SmartPak for another great product."

"This is a great product. Palatable to even the pickiest horses and works!! My 28 year old barrel horse needed something to help with the arthritis of age. In the colder months she has a problem walking. I started giving her smart flex herb free and within a month I noticed a difference in her gait and overall happiness."

"My 18 year old Percheron/Quarter, Andre, is the dearest thing in my life and I'm trying to keep him going as long as I can. SO! I called SmartPak and isn't it the most shocking thing when not only a human answers the phone, but they know your name, AND! they can answer questions about the products without passing it on to another person?!
Anyway! Andre tends to have a swollen rear fetlock and shank and with a combination of 1/2 of a Previcox pill and the SmartFlex® Senior pellets, his swelling has gone from looking like a sausage, to having very minimal swelling.
I'm very thankful for SmartPak for partnering up with me to help my horse to have a long life."

"Rebel had been on another joint supplement, it was running low so i decided to make the switch to senior flex. i must say, i have been plesantly surprised @ the improvement i have seen in his movement, a much smoother ride. he was obviously alot "stiffer" than i realized. he is 23 yrs. old, he thanks me for the "switch" & i am very pleased with the results. the smart pack team is great to work with & very helpful. "I have my 6yr old 17.2 TB on this and its fantastic. Don't let the name senior fool you. What's better than all the joint ingrediants and probiotics at an awesome price? For all these same ingrediants for the "young horse" you'll pay double! This product works great for my young guy and helps with his digestion too."

"Earlier this year, I won a very generous gift certificate and decided to get my 14-year-old Thoroughbred gelding some Smartpaks. After reading through all of the extensive information on the website, I chose the herb-free Senior Flex pellets. Mr. Picky Eater has a poor history of eating any of my well-intentioned feed additives, so I was skeptical. WOW. He ate it. And he started to come out of his stall and go out with a happy trot away at the paddock gate, rather than the shuffling walk. Things got a bit economically tight this summer and I had to drop his order for a short time....and for the first time, I noticed a huge difference in his stride and stiffness. I knew he was missing the Smartflex. As soon as I could, I re-ordered his Smartpaks, and within 3 weeks he is back to being easier to warmup, less creaky, and livlier in turnout. I am sold on this product for my older horses, and recently put my young horse on it too! This was a good experiment to see if it "really works" and I am happy to report, for my horse's sake, that it does. I've done the research and there is no other supplement with the joint ingredients, in pellet form, that is as economical #and effective# to feed to your horse."

"Bought this for my 17 yr. old morgan who has minor stifle issues on occasion and noticed a great improvement! Unfortunately after a few months he decided he didn't like it (along with the SmartCalm Ultra he was on). A couple of weeks after he stopped eating it I noticed more stifle issues return - it evidently was working way better than I ever anticipated! Very bummed it doesn't also come in powder form - was forced to switch to Cosequin ASU to get him to eat his supplements."

"I used to have my horse on Total Joint Care and loved the results, but my horse didn't like the powder. After taking Baggio off TJC, he went back to being stiff and uncomfortable. After having a chiropractor out, we found out that he only had 50% range of motion in his neck, which was a result from arthritis in his neck and some other joint issues
A week after of the SmartFlex Senior and 1/4 of Vetri HA, he is a completely different horse. He is no longer stiff to one side in our rides and is moving more forward than ever. I can't imagine not having my horse without it. He is also a very picky eater and licks his feed bowl!"

"I decided to put my second horse, Louie, on this supplement after my older horse, Duke, did so well on the SmartFlex Senior Pellets. Louie is 15 years old and comes out pretty stiff some days. I liked that it had HA in it to help with that stiffness. Since putting him on this supplement he has had many more days where he comes out completely sound and requires much less warm up than usual. I have been putting off doing hock injections and after a few months this supplement has helped me put them off even longer. He is doing his lead changes much smoother than he has in a long time and feels great when we jump! Louie is not very picky but he gobbles these up just like he does with every other SmartPak supplement."
