"I competed wearing this stock tie in the middle of June and forgot to use the Cool Medic feature, but even still, it certainly wasn't stifling. It looks beautiful, and the thicker collar for holding water can't be seen if you're wearing a coat. My only complaint is that it runs rather large for a one-size-fits-all approach. Of course, I'm also rather petite, so I'm used to that. My fix is to add additional velcro to make the collar more adjustable. The material is rather thin and does show stockpin marks, so keep that in mind when you pin it."

"I've always tied my own stock tie; have never liked pretied ones. I loved the idea of a cooling stock tie, but the ruffled look was just to nontraditional for me and I couldn't bring myself to wear it. I have no idea how well it works- I returned it before wearing it. If they made an untied version, I'd buy it in a heartbeat."
