Equine Comfort Products Air Ride Half Pad
The Air Ride Half Pad is a breathable, lightweight and shock absorbing pad that offers superb comfort for?your horses back. It is shaped with hundreds of small ventilation holes. Made of TPE foam that helps prevent slipping and keeps the saddle in place. The foam will mold to the horses back and return to?its original shape after each use. Fits saddles 16.5-18

This pad prevents sliding, stays well, stays clean, has good ventilation, is very thin and light, and adds small padding under the saddle. It does not change the sit of the saddle. Great price with a very decent quality. The keeper tabs can be a bit longer, but they should accomodate most saddles, I am sure. I use a thin towel on top of it (under saddle) while I wait for my saddle fitter - the towel sits there until I am done riding. Very versatile.

It gives a little extra cushion for the horse and it stays in place without the billet strap. It seems to draw some sweat away from the pad and it is easy to hose off after use.

This half pad is great, fits neatly under saddle without adding extra bulk so it does it's job without changing the fit of the saddle like a lot of others i've tried.

I have used this pad once with a horse with a sore back. The only thing I noticed was that the saddle seemed to slip backwards onto the back of the horse. However I liked it once I got it placed and secured.
