"I purchased this fly mask last summer and used it for a good part of our "buggy" season for one of our horses--he is a larger Quarter horse. The mask worked very well! It stayed on very well, and there were only a handful of times that I had to go pick it up out of the field when I got home #this always seems to happen with every fly mask at some point though!#. I've used the Supermask fly masks for years, and they always seemed to work well for me--I like the Kensington masks though because they seem to be a nice, heavy material. I actually bought this mask with the long nose because our QH who it was purchased for seemed to always have a large cluster of flies that gathered on the end of his nose #we used fly predators & he was on Smart Bug-Off...one of the only places flies seemed to gather was on his nose though!#. This mask came down to the tip of his nose, so it was just the perfect length to keep the bugs off."

"I was excited to get this mask especially since I got in on the free embroidery deal. So for the good news, I do like how tough the material is and the blue plaid looks cute on my white mare. However, there are some significant points that make this mask sub-par.
1. The long nose doesn't come down far enough so my horse still got a crispy muzzle where her pink skin was exposed (my horse does not have an overly large/long face)
2. The lack of fleece along the inner seems made this mask rub her face and cheeks
3. The embroidery was much smaller than I expected so it is hard to read
Overall, it's not a mask I would buy again unless they significantly lower the price or make changes to it."

"the nose piece is too long, need to shorten about an 1'-2". Bought the next size up thinking this reslove the problem of too long of nose piece but the rest did not fit. Stay with large for QH and have to live with the long nose that tears up quickly"

"I wanted a mask that could stand up to intense rubbing, block my gelding's pink nose from the sun, and that looked cool. This has it all. However I did have to send it back once because it ran a bit small (my arabian never wears large in anything, but needed the large fly mask). It still rubs his sharp cheek bones, so if your horse has pronounced face bones like mine, this could be a problem. I glued some felt on the inside though and no more problems."

"I bought this flymasks for fly's, but mostly to help my horse with sunburns on her nose. It does the job! There is no flaking around her nose and no redness. As far as being durable it has stoud the test so far. Overall a great product."

"The pros of this mask are: I love the elastic in the throat-latch area, I can put it on snug, yet there is a lot of give to it...The color is very pretty....It fits my paint gelding very well, except for some gaping in the forehead area, but it still does the job as his forelock covers up the gaping area..
The cons of this mask are: The material snags very, very easily..If your horse is stalled where he/she can't rub on trees or anything rough this mask should hold up very well.."

"This fly mask is very pretty, I bought the medium pink plaid for my mare. My mare has a typical Quarter Horse shaped and sized head. The fit isn't quite right for her, the under cheek fastener is a little short and the nose piece comes down much lower than the horse in the picture wearing the red mask.Although the fit could be better, I like the mask and ordered the blue one for my gelding."

"I recently purchased an APHA with a lot of white on his face. I tried using sunscreen but he was still getting burnt. I spotted the Kensington Long Fly Mask in your catalog and thought I would give it a try. All I can say is, works like a charm! It fits great, it keeps the bugs of his face and prevents sun damage to his face! Love this product and I would definitely recommend it to my friends!!!"

"I was unsure how long this would last as my horses love to play "face games". So far so good! There is elastic on the jawstraps, even through the games, it stayed on. I'm very happy with this mask."

"It is no exageration to say I have tried every fly mask with a long nose on the market. I am constantly having to apply sunscreen to my paint gelding's pink nose because he absolutely refuses to keep every other long nosed fly mask on. That is until the Kensington masks. I was leary to purchase them because they are a bit pricey, and expensive masks have failed me in the past. But to my suprise he has no problem with this mask. I hardly ever have to retrieve it from the pasture. And it holds up great. Also I dont have to completely worry about my geldings pink nose if I cant get out to the stable to sunscreen him. Absolutely love it!!!! Hallelujah!!"

"I ordered this for my paint horse, I needed a mask that couldn't be removed by his barn buddy who had a habit of helping him get his mask off. At first it seemed perfect due to the double velcro closure but it rubbed the hair off his face in several areas, I tried adjusting the velcro but is just rubbed in other areas, in the end I was unable to use it. I ordered the horse size, usually a great fit in other brands but not this one. Take care in sizing."

"I ordered this for my mare in the pink plaid. The colors are great and the quality is good. I had issues with the sizing. I originally ordered the large standard horse size and it was too big. I exchanged that for the medium and that was too small. Overall, it is a great looking fly mask, just not sized correctly for my horse."
