I have used this product on my old mare who suffers from anhydrosis for about 4 months. She is NOT sweating yet, but she seems much better able to deal with the heat and is more comfortable this year than ever. She eats the powder well, and I would recommend to at least try this if you have a non-sweater in the barn.

I am using this product for the first time this summer. My TB x Shire never sweats well in the summer. This product combined with the One AC has made a difference in his comfort level. He can at least do light work early in the mornings. Check the label, the dose on this product is high and should be given twice a day.

We have a Minature x Shetland, who suffers from Cushings, and on top of that, Anhidrosis. For years, we've kept him on One AC, which helped, but he still got extrememly overheated. We always 24/7 had to keep a water mister or sprinkler going, as well as a fan in his stall. This summer, we've never had to put a mister out, just his fan, which seems to keep him happy enough. He's never once seemed close to being overheated. I havn't noticed a difference in sweat, as he's always dry, but in general, he just seems to be taking on summer heat better this time. I credit it to this supplement.

I live in North Louisiana and the temperatures are reaching 100+ everyday. My 11 year old Quarter Horse has always been a marginal sweater. I have used another product for the past 3 years and have just not gotten the result I needed. I saw some increased sweating with Perspiraid within a week of starting it. After a month, he is sweating almost at a normal level. I am still very careful, riding early in the day with frequent breaks.

My horses has stopped sweating every summer due to anhidrosis. I live in Texas, where it reaches 104-106 degrees in June. In this kind of heat, he usually shuts down completely and I have to stop riding. This summer, I added perspirade to my smartpak in conjunction with One AC and smartlytes in May.I wanted to reserve my review until I knew whether Perspirade worked or not. I BELIEVE THAT THIS PRODUCT HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE. My horse IS sweating, and he's noticably less stressed. While he will never be a big sweater during the summer, the fact that he's evenly sweating on his neck, haunches between his legs, and under his tack is incredible. I still take typical precautions: in during the day, avoid riding in the hottest parts of the day, sponging him while I ride. Give this product a try!

Perspirade broke the anhidrosis my Florida
Cracker horse has had for two summers. I used another product that did not work. After one week of Perspirade he started to sweat and has continued. He had no problem eating it mixed in his feed. I am so happy to see him not suffering in the heat this summer!
