Total Control
Total Control is an all-in-one formula that supports joints, hooves, skin and coat, gastric health, blood counts and proper hydration in the performance horse. Total Control combines the ingredients of other Finish Line supplements, including Iron Power, Apple-a-Day, Feet First and U-7 Gastric Aid, plus joint support from 5,000 mg of Glucosamine, 2,000 mg of MSM, 100 mg of Hyaluronic Acid, 1,000 mg of Vitamin C and Yucca.

"I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this product from friends, so I decided to give it a try! But that is the only reason it got 2 stars.. I got this supplement in my smartpak yesterday and neither of my horses will eat it or even touch their grain! It is still laying in the feeder in a pile as if it contains the plague... :("

"My TB is the pickiest eater I have ever met and finally here's a great all around supplement that he will eat!!
I've noticed improvement in his sensitive ulcer points as well as strength in his hooves.
The added vit c has kept him healthy while his neighbors had the sniffles."

"My horse is not known for being picky but wouldnt touch this stuff. It also is very difficult to keep fresh as if you put it in their buckets when setting up feed and it sits for a length of time, it turns black and gooey as do the leftovers in the feed bucket. Have to feed a lot of this product so suggest splitting it out over two or more feedings. My horse gets very little grain so the amount of powder this supplement added didn't work for me. Hard to tell if it would have worked or not as I feel he never was able to test it since he wouldn eat it."

"I have tried Total Control by Finish Line several times over the last few years. Each time I have been pleased with the results. My horses eat it and always look and feel great on it. I had one horse that came in for training and in just a few weeks he went from underweight to bloomy and better looking than the other horses on my place that weren't being supplemented.
I decided to try it on my good barrel horse because she really needed help in a few areas and Total Control seemed to fit the bill. Also, the price seems to be less than other combination supplements. She eats it right up and is looking and feeling great so far.
I also have to say I love SmartPaks because they keep the supplements much fresher and I am less wary of the fats in my supplements going rancid.
I will be keeping my mare on Total Control, I think I have finally learned my lesson that I love this product!"

"My 24-year old TB was on a ton of different supplements because I could not find one that really did it all. This one comes very close - now he only gets this plus extra MSM and magnesium. He gets a mash at night so eating the supplement is not a problem."

"I placed my 12 y/o all-around AQHA mare on this product when a friend began jumping her a couple months back. She has never had joint issues before nor has she developed any, but the only way I can get her to consume this is to make a mash with hay cubes and her grain...and this is my horse that would eat cardboard if you gave it to her and told her it was yummy. I was hopeful that a multipurpose would be the key for her, if it is, this is not the one."

"Semi-picky eater of supplements this year, but had a real problem trying to get him to eat this. Even tried using strawberry syrup on top of his feed. Only fed him half the full day serving at each meal. He'd eat the grain and leave the Total Control in the bottom of the feeder (Total Control on top of grain)."

"i absolutely love this product, all of my show horses are on it and look like a million bucks. The only issue I have are that my picky eaters don't like the powder and it just settles to the bottom of their buckets. Is there anyway they can make a pelleted version as well? A+++"

"It doesn't clump like the product in a bucket. My picky horse loves it, and the others try to get a bite including a VERY picky donkey. I love it as it is so easy. I don't have to think about how much my horse is getting, I just dump it in, and know he is gettint the right amount. I wouldn't buy total control any other way and will buy all my supplements from Smart Pak if they carry them. Excellent on customer service, product, freshness and easiness. Thank you"

"This is THE product you need for horses in serious competition. It covers all your bases and is quite palatable. The horses I've used it on have just blossomed and I believe recovered faster from hard work as well. I last used it with a young TB who came to me with sratches, a recently blown hoof abscess, 300 pounds underweight, and a dull attitude. In a month, with the help of good high fat/fiber grain and quality hay, he looked and felt like a million bucks. Definitely worth the price for your athletes. As a caveat though, I do think it's not a good choice for horses in light or no work as it gives working horses energy to spare."

"I bought an Anglo-Trakehner for my daughter because the horse fell in love with her and she with him. But he was in terrible shape, underweight, wormy, bad feet, sore joints, and overall neglect. I started using Finish Line Total Control and it gave this horse his life back. They were the Jr. High Point Dressage Champions in our area this summer. It helps him move better, his feet have improved to the point I pulled his shoes off for this winter (at first we couldn't keep shoes on him), and he maintains his weight easily. This 12 y.o. acts like a 3 y.o., but still has his manners. I would recommend this product to anyone who feeds multiple supplements and has a horse who needs the help. The Vet who did the pre-purchase exam saw this horse 6 mos. later and couldn't believe the improvement. I think that says it all."

"I have used Finish Line products over the past few years. Been thrilled with them. Thought the Total Control a great idea. I've been feeding it for two weeks without success. "I've used this product for over a year and have had seen really good results. I have a 22 year old warmblood that is still showing at the intermediate levels in dressage...And he had a hind suspensory injury two years ago. The product helps keep him moving well, his coat shiney and feet solid and has reduced his stomach discomfort experienced when traveling. It also definitely saves time as I no longer have to scoop multiple supplements. The only downside is that it does get sticky in the summer (I'm in FL) if you have to premix your feed a day or two in advance or use automatic feeders. They've made improvements since the original formula but Florida summer humidity is hard on any feed and supplement."

"For a horse that has multiple issues this is the one product that absolutely gave us a new lease on life- it has truly given me my horse back. Formerly short stride-ed and hesitant, she now extends and leads the canter laps of the pasture. No more grumpies tacking up, falls asleep in cross ties instead of stomping her feet when tacking, no more creaking joints and extremely happy stomach.
