Fuller Fillies Polo Shirt

New for Spring 2011 is the Fuller Fillies Polo Shirt. It is made from a light-weight, fast-wicking, non creasing polyester fabric. The shirt features a 'raglan' sleeve which not only gives lots of room for movement but it also allows air to circulate keeping you super comfortable.

Love it so much I wish I had bought a second one. It feels nice on my skin and nice and lose for moving around in. Nicely made and colors hold great when washed.

I have mixed feelings about this top. I quite like the material. Its a heavier kind of material than say the Kerrits ventilator top and not as stretchy but it is lighter weight and more stretchy than the Fuller Fillies technical shirt. I have this top in the pink and grey and I love the colors. I also quite like the design, it does draw attention to the face and away from the stomach to some extent. It matches perfectly with the Piper breeches to give a put together outfit. The material drapes nicely over the body in a figure flattering body skimming kind of way too. Its comfortable to ride in, with plenty of freedom of movement. It also does quite a good job of wicking sweat tho' I do think its a little heavy material for the height of summer - maybe more a spring/fall kind of top or for those cooler summer days. For me the main issues are: the white trim on cuffs and collar means those areas get filthy dirty looking fast, the sleeves are a really weird length on me, a little bit short of bracelet length and not as short as 3/4 length so it gives the kind of look that I shrunk my top or that its too small for me in the arms - I don't have particularly long arms and I have not had this issue with FF tops before. It may be is supposed to look this way - I am not sure. I find myself pushing the sleeves up as I prefer the way it looks then. The raglan sleeves while providing excellent movement also unfortunately make the tops of your arms appear bigger. Its also rather long - while this is good from a slimming perspective when not riding it means you end up sitting on it when you are riding. Overall its probably fairly priced as quality is good and whether you like the styling will be down to personal preference.
