My Arabian mare is very heavy on the forehand and has been for years now. After trying many different exercises and bits this one is helping her use herself and round up without leaning. It is quite a different feeling from a horse who leaned on your hands to one that is learning to hold herself up! Love it! Make sure you check with your local show rules if you plan to show with this bit as some do not accept these.

OK, I know it is really hard to review bits, since each horse is an individual, but I absolutely love the Myler system. You can fill out a questionnaire at toklat.com, and one of the Mylers will call you back about choosing the right bit for your horse. I use this bit on our QH mare that can be difficult to collect and get to use her hindquarters. She doesn't lean on this mouthpiece, and she no longer gapes her mouth away from the bit. Yes, the bits are a little expensive, but I am a believer in their system.
