"I bought this martingale to match my Prestige saddle. Like all things Prestige- I'm pretty sure I said "Oooooh" when it came out of the box. It is soft and pliable right from the start. It is also quite long. I have 3 other martingales of various brands and price ranges- the Prestige is far longer than the others which are all standard horse size. This is fine for my 17'3" Thoroughbred who has a long neck- but if you're buying for a smaller horse you might want to size down. Unfortunately- while tacking up - one of the little quarter horses in the arn decided it made a good chew toy- it is still useable but not show ready anymore. When I can afford to- I will definately buy another for show use."
