Customer Reviews for Passier Special Caveson with Bit Ring Recess

Passier Special Caveson with Bit Ring Recess

Especially kind and comfortable! The?Passier Special Caveson's unique bit recesses is especially gentle on the horse's mouth. The new?40mm noseband shape avoids any contact with the bit ring so that even the most sensitive of horses will not experience any pinching or discomfort at the mouth. The Passier Special Cavesson has been designed particularly for the Passier Gemini and Passier Aries bridles. Stainless steel fittings. With or without flash. Black.

"This is a great idea in a noseband. However, the 40 mm wide measurement does not include the lovely padding. 40 mm is about 1.5 inches, but with the padding, the noseband is about 2 inches wide, closer to 50 mm. This is a quality Passier noseband, suitable for a larger horse, but overwhelmed my 16.2 warmblood who takes a normal full size bridle."

"I bought one for my snaffle bridle and just bought another for my double. All the quality you would expect from Passier. The nose band is wide so if you don't have a big headed horse, you might want to think twice before buying this one. It could easily overpower a delicate face. Works great on my big guy and I love the way it is cut out around the snaffle rings."

"My mare is very particular and demanding when it comes to her comfort. I wish horses could talk! I sensed her old cavesson might be pinching her, so I bought this one as an experiment, really. Problem solved immediately! I knew with the first ride that I was correct. This cavesson sits evenly around the circumerence of nose. The chin piece is wide and soft. The noseband is wider than I prefer, but my horse is so comfortable, which is more important. The quality of the leather is beautiful"

"This caveson is what you expect when you hear the brand name Passier. The leather is buttery soft and everything is well padded. I could not be happier! This caveson is wide and I feel it is best suited to a larger horse, otherwise it would be overpowering. It looks perfect on my 17 hand slightly modern warmblood."

"Beautiful quality all around....leather & hardware, just too wide for my horse's head..."
