"I just got my boots which are lovely--white leather with gray sheepskin, perfect for my Lusitano filly--but something I couldn't see on the website picture of the boots made me say, "Eeeww." Mattes decided to put TWO brand logo tags on the straps, sewn into the leather, which made an originally nice Mattes product look tacky. One is okay--everyone does that--but two is overkill. And the tags nearly cover the entire strap: no subtly there. I will have to cut the stitches off to get rid of the tags, which will leave the stitching holes. If I had known that two tags were on both boots I would not have bought them, but I cannot return them b/c they are custom.

Yes, I'm the only one that will see the tags, but I AM the one that paid for them and I think the excess tags are tacky. For the price, these boots should not look tacky."
