SmartDigest® Ultra Paste
SmartDigest Ultra Paste provides comprehensive support for your horse?s gastrointestinal tract during times of stress, such as hay or grain transitions, travel, and showing. This tasty formula includes probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, soluble fiber, soothing herbs and other specialized ingredients that help support a balanced and healthy hindgut. "I got this as an alternative to Probios paste because they were buy 1 get 1. It seems good although it has a horrible smell. I will definately keep using it but perhaps something can be done to make it smell and taste better (okay I didnt taste it, but am guessing it doesnt taste good by the smell and how my horse reacted)"

"I always give this after I deworm for peace of mind that my horses' gut colonies are still intact and healthy. Smells great, easy to administer -- I keep mine in the fridge becasue it can be gooey. 2 doses -- amazing value!"

"My trail gelding turned 20 this year and has been having some gastric issues. He spent a week in the hospital about six months ago because of a serious bout of colic, so I've been taking extra care of his gastric health. He's a very stoic little guy, so it's hard to tell when he's not feeling well until he's very sick. I started giving this to him in situations where his digestive tract might be put under extra stress and have been very pleased with the results. I give him half a tube before and after a trailer ride, show day, or worming. He's been handling those situations better (calmer, more focused, no more loose stools) than before I started using this paste. I also like that it comes in a tube, because it's easy to just grab one when I need it. And it's easy on the wallet so I can keep a few on hand at all times."

"This paste has become a staple in my tack locker. I always keep at least one tube on hand. My horse loves the flavor and it is very easy to administer. I've used it on multiple occasions - during feed changes, if we are heading to a clinic or about to do anything stressful, or if I get a little panicky and simply want to give his digestive system a boost. I love the SmartDigest Ultra supplement and have it as a part of my SmartPak and love the paste as an add on in those special situations. PLUS, you get two doses in one syringe! Just ordered the value pack of 5!"

"This stuff smells amazing, like pancake syrup. My horse ate it both by itself and mixed in feed. Last time we trailered, I gave him some the night before and the morning of. No runny poo and it seemed to help his nerves as well. Was totally worth the buy one get one free deal!"

"I ordered this for my horse that had a pretty bad flu, followed by antibiotics, and still wasn't eating much, if anything, after 5 days. I was impressed that about 20 minutes after giving it to her, she had gut sounds going again. Her appetite picked up slowly, so I can't attest as to whether or not it was from the SmartDigest, but I am under the impression that it helped. I also thought it smelled very good, but she didn't seem to love it."

"I was very impressed with this paste. My pony never seemed ulcery to me, because she always seemed cranky, but within 30 minutes of giving her this paste before our work out she seemed greatly changed. I think I will give her the smartpaks digest ultra pellets for a little while from now on."

"I bought the SmartDigest Ultra paste to give to my mare before an event this past weekend. I usually give her some sort of digestive paste, so I was excited to see the SmartDigest Ultra in a paste! My mare is usually pretty easy to give pastes to, but it also known to spit them out after, not this one. After giving it to her, she didn't spit it out and as crazy as it sounds, almost seemed to enjoy it! It's also good to know that she is getting such comprehensive support. I will be purchasing more and using it everytime we travel/show!"

"SmartDigest Ultra powder does a wonderful job keeping my thoroughbred’s GI tract “regular,” but there are times when stressful situations make me wish I could give him a “boost” of the probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes and other goodies in his daily digestive supplement. What a wonderful idea to formulate the powder into a paste! Now I can give him an extra dose when I know an event is coming up that may make him nervous (or when I completely miss an exciting episode in his life and he’s already gotten a little loose)."
