"Being a senior with osteoporosis, I was looking for something to use on the trail, meaning many hours at a time. I needed some comfort and would sacrifice some protection for that. Everyone said this is the vest for that purpose and it did seem to be better than almost all the others I tried. However, I had to lace it pretty tightly to keep it from riding up and having the whole thing shift to the back and it was not comfy around my middle. I finally tried the cheaper knock-off version and that design works much better for me. Both were too long and hit my saddle but I can modify that. As far as size goes, I'm small, 5'4", 108 lbs and the youth medium is the one that fit. I expected to take youth large. I also thought this vest very pricey for something that isn't certified."
