I love the make and material used for these breeches. They appear to be very well made. I believe they will be warm, comfortable and water resistant. The sale price was a great deal, too! Unfortunately, I ordered the size I normally wear and they were too large and the next size was not available. I will try to order again once my size is available!

I love these breeches. Very soft lining, have a little stretch, and smooth exterior that stays clean. Cute styling. Great fit. Effective full seat. Please get more in other colors including tan!!!

Nice riding pants but not as warm as I had hoped. The cold air seems to cut through them when riding.
Love how they feel and look but must wear with extra underneath to keep warm. Will be great in late Fall and early Spring.

The product is ok for its price. It is rather smaller than breeches of the same size, and the legs are on the short side. Not all that warm either, but satisfactory. Esthetically it is very nice.

I read other reviews, which seem to state that these breeches do not stretch enough. Well,, I am a standard 30 and they fit perfectly and I love them. I think the material is long lasting and holds up great (had them for a year). The soft shell thing is cool, even though they are not super stretchy. I get the knee tightness thing, but don't notice it when riding.

I have a small build, 5'4, 102 lbs, so ordered XS. I am used to things being a bit big, but these were HUGE, even over other heavy clothing underneath. I live in a very cold part of upstate NY, so was really looking forward to these as I try to ride through the winter. I had to return them. They fit me like I would expect a size medium to. In addition, the waist seemed cut very large. And even if they had fit, would not have been as warm as described. Will stick with FITS, despite the cost.

Recieved these breeches as a Christmas present. They fit very nicely through out the leg and waist, the material that is used for the full seat is very much like elastic, so I see how one review stated that it was tight around the knee when riding.
Besides that, the material is very, very nice. They seem to be warm without looking like you're wearing snow pants. Only time will tell though, being that I live in the North East!

Sadly these Mountain Horse made breeches were not what I had hoped for. The fit was good but the lack of microfleece lining under the full seat made these 'winter' breeches less warm than my basic full seat breeches. I really wanted to love these for their fit and comfort, but the lack of insulation was just unacceptable.

I was searching for a new pair of breeches that would keep me warm and still fit comfortably inside my riding boots. I have a pair of FITS winter breeches and they are soooo warm but so thick that they don't fit well inside my boots. I received these breeches and the quality looks quite good. I put them on and they were very warm. The size was accurate but the fabric wasn't as flexible as what I'm used to (I always ride in FITS) so I have returned them to get the next size up. Based on what I saw, I think they will be great winter breeches and they are much thinner and will fit easily inside my riding boots.

These did look nice. The tailoring was lovely. And the did feel like they would be warm. But they were stiff and constricting. Maybe I just didn't order large enough? Still, I couldn't see myself wanting to put these on each day. So they are going back.

Was not sure how much I would like these breeches because they did not feel heavy weight, but it was amazing that the wind and rain did not go thru them. I rode in the rain and remained completely dry. I just ordered my second pair.

I recieved the breeches and they had a nice fit. However they are not as warm as I would like. I wear them with thermal underwear and then they fit a little tight through the knee. I think for spring or fall they would be great but Noth East Winter not so good.

I can't say enough about these breeches. The outer fabric is windproof and horse hair does not stick to it. The lining is warm and soft. I have worn them in very cold and windy weather and was pleased to stay warm and dry! I found these breeches true to size and comfortable but less stretchy than traditional breeches. Really liked the style and the low rise which is not too low!

All I can saw is WOW, yes they are warm. The super thin fabric blocks out the wind and the fleecy inside is soft against your skin. They are very nicely tailored and the price is right! Thumbs up on this one!!

I ordered these pants because I really need another pair of winter breeches that are full seat. I first ordered them in my usual size. When they came, they were a bit snug in the waist. But the legs were unbelievably narrow and uncomfortable. I have a typical rider's legs--big muscles on the inside of the thighs--and these pants were cut way too narrow. I returned those and ordered a size up in hopes that the cut would be a bit more generous. It wasn't. It was a larger waist with the same drainpipe legs. So, unless you are built like a toothpick (which most riders are not) you might want to spare yourself the trouble of ordering these pants. Too bad, because the material sure does seem like it would be warm and windproof.

I live in the Northeast and I am not fortunate to head south during the freezing cold winter months. Over the years, I've contemplated purchasing winter breeches but have never found a pair that didn't make me look like I was wearing sweatpants or was a version of the abominable snowman. I saw these pants and thought they actually looked like breeches so I wanted to give them a try. I read all of the reviews before purchasing but had different results. Fit: I wear 2 different size breeches (depending on brand and fabric) so I ordered the larger size and the fit was great. I did find they were a little bit tighter across my bum and slightly looser in the thighs but the overall fit was very flattering. Knee flexibility: No issues here whatsoever. They felt great in the saddle. Fabric: I was a little concerned that I would sound "swishy" in the saddle but nope, didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. The soft interior felt really nice against my skin. The fabric is actually quite thin, I was able to ride in my tall boots! Rise: it was a little higher (maybe 1") than all of my low rise breeches but it wasn't so high that I felt uncomfortable.
Bottom line, I'm really happy I got a pair. I'm sure they will keep me warm and looking fabulous all winter long :)
