"I tried the Dublin boot and found it to be so bulky that it was difficult to put on and off. This boot is great! So stylish and it seems like it will hold up well. I can slip them on and off much easier than other boots. I got a discounted color so the price wasn't bad. I am usually a solid size 8 but I actually went up to an 8 and a half UK size and they fit perfectly."

"I bought the Connemara color - love them! I wear them with skinny jeans and get many compliments. Not going to wear them to muck stalls like i do with my leather boots but these will get tons of wear. i wear a 10 in most shoes and ordered these in a 10 according to the smart pack chart and they fit perfectly."

"It's a shame that Dubarry is discontinuing this model- I absolutely love mine!
And I can't write this review without giving a shout-out to Smartpak for their awesome return policy and customer service. The first pair I ordered (US 7.5) were a bit too small, and my customer service representative went out of her way to make sure I got one of the 8.5s before they sold out!
I'm extremely grateful because the 8.5s fit like a dream and have been keeping my calves warm and dry while I trudge through the snow that Nemo dumped on us last weekend.
Because of the tweed, I wouldn't recommend these as muck boots necessarily, but they are great for wearing around just about anywhere, and they are extremely easy to clean up.
I gave them a 4 on value just because they ARE a bit expensive for my taste (probably wouldn't splurge for a full-price pair), and a 4 on durability just because I haven't had them very long, but they seem to be holding up quite nicely."

"I finally broke down and purchased them. When I received them and opened up the box I fell instantly in love. Originally purchased for use around the barn I will do my best to keep manure and shavings away from them. They are absolutely gorgeous and I wore them to work (relaxed casual environment) and got only compliments. They are definitely warm. I usually wear a 9 and got a nine, which in EU sizing means a 40. A bit generous, I would have liked a 39 but that way I can put my superfeet insoles in and right out of the box no problem wearing them all day. If you can afford them, you won't be disappointed."

"I purchased these boots in the smoke color, and they're beautiful! They run true to size and the calf fits me well. I have thin calves so was worried they would be too wide, but with jeans underneath they fit great. They are pricey, but seem like they will last forever so that's how I justified it!"

"I love these boots and had great compliments when I wore them to Devon (in the cold and rain!). They are soft and need no breaking in and are very comfortable. I wear US size 7 and ordered UK 4.5 and the fit is good, still room to wear thick socks but comfortable with normal weight socks. I did clip off the little tag that says gortex on the outside of the boots, thought they looked funny there. I like these so much I started browsing over other Dubarry boots!"

"I bought these boots for winter/rainy season (I live in VT). Excellent quality, tread is pretty good even on slippery surfaces and plenty of room for thick socks. They seem breathable enough to not be too hot in the warmer seasons - I guess we will see!"
