"Let me preface this review by saying: these are my first pair of semi-custom tall boots I have owned, and my first pair of boots over $300. I ordered them in short because I am very small from knee to ankle, and was surprised how well they fit when they came. They are absolutely exquisite and very elegant. The square-ish toe is modern and very cool looking (in my opinion)! The leather is BUTTER SOFT, I have never felt tall boots like these before! There was zero break-in time, the backs of my knees were never chaffed or blistered. The footbed is also very comfortable and well-padded.

They are also waterproof, actually moreso than my Dubarrys! The heel did start to separate a tiny bit, but that is truly my only qualm with these boots, and will be easily fixed. To be fair, I also wear them a lot more than just for showing - they are so comfortable I tend to wear them more than my paddock boots and half chaps. They have worn very well over the past two years, and I get TONS of compliments on them! Highly recommend these boots!!!"

"These boots offer a great fit that looks almost custom, without the custom price tag, of course. They are well worth the wait, and I experienced very little break-in time--after two rides they had molded well to my legs and I never got blisters. I ride only a few times a week, so my hope is that the softer leather will hold up well over time."

"These boots fit like a glove and are so soft and flexible. Loved them from my first ride. My trainer suggested them and I am so glad I took her advice! The Smartpak customer service people were great about making sure I got the right fit and these are perfect. Because they are measured in cm instead of inches, you get a custom fit at a reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend them."

"I LOVE them!! These boots live up to what they say, they are SUPER SOFT and you have so much leg contact because your not wearing stiff boots! I can't talk about durability yet, but I have had them for 4 months and I ride 4 times a week and they are wonderful!! Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they wore out quicker because they are SO comfortable! I would purchase again in a heartbeat. Just remember it is in centimeters when you order, so you need to convert."
