Still searching for a non-smelly, oily mess of a way to supplement Omega 3s for my dogs. At first I thought I had found it, but within a week the pump started leaking horribly. At least it is not fish-smelly like the Welactin and the dogs do love it. Just finding a way to store it where it is convenient yet not causing an oil slick is problematic.

My dogs love the taste and I love how soft, shiny, and itch-free they are! I originally purchased a similar product (not sold by SmartPak) for my Mini Schnauzer with dry, itchy skin. It helped a little but it made him smell awful. For the past two months, both my Schnauzer and Jack Russell have been getting SmartCanine OmegaMax. The Schnauzer is now itch free and both dogs have beautiful coats! The Jack Russell is a picky eater and used to need to be hand fed, but with one pump of the OmegaMax in her food she licks the bowl clean.

It was recommended that I try this product to add weight to my Dane who is geriatric. After almost a month of use, there is no weight gain, but no improvement in coat, either. She is still losing/thinning hair on her back. I don't think I'll repurchase - though the price is fair and she liked the taste, I just didn't see results.
