I think my halter was mis-tied. The halter fit lopsided when on my Appy. I had to adjust some of the key knot tie locations. Now it fits symmetrically.
The knots over the nose are something I didn't notice when I ordered. OK for a difficult horse, but mine does not need that unnecessary pain. Good for the right horse.

Good quality for both the lead and halter. I've used this for both ground work as well as under my headstall while riding and it fits and works great for both. Also love the colors I haven't seen a rope halter before in this color combination and I like it because its very neutral and goes with anything.

Good quality rope for both the halter and lead, with a nice solid feel. The halter is not the hard, stiff rope that some are made of, which to me is a good thing. I did have to tighten the knots when it arrived as a couple were loose, but that was easy enough. Nice length to the lead and a set that should be darn well indestructible for a while.

I LOVE this halter and so does my boy. We do lots of ground work with it and we also use it to ride. I think this is one of my best purchases ever! I would suggest any one to try it.

I bought this as an everyday halter and it does a good job. That said, the lead rope portion is lower quality and I will eventually replace it with double braided rope of this type. You can remove the lead rope and there is a ring if you wish to use clip lead ropes as well. The halter itself is good quality and is somewhat adjustable though it takes a bit of doing with the rope knots. This was a very comparable price to local farm stores. I had enough items for free shipping and would order this again.

I needed a rope halter to work with my horse on the ground and to help with trailer loading. This one is very nice - the colors go with any color of horse and the material is soft to the hand. It is perfect for my needs and it didn't hurt that it was also on sale.

I bought this along with the PC Clinician halter, figuring that if the cheaper one would do the trick, I'd return the other. I much prefer the Clinician hater/rope, even for the price, based on the stiffer halter material and longer, heavier rope. This one is a nice regular halter set in an attractive color combination, but I prefer leather for my regular halters. It will make a great gift for one of my Western friends though!

I needed a rope halter for my big 17'3" hand Oldenburg as a just in case he gets sassy halter since my barn is anti-stud chain. It provides the perfect amount of kick with out the mean pull of a chain! perfect for those crazy winter months! Thanks smart pack for yet another quality product for a quality price!

Very nice halter for the price...It had a nice weight (not too heavy, but not really light) and the feel was soft. It fit my mare perfectly, even though she's just a large pony (with a big head!). Little extra rope on the end, but very adjustable. The lead felt great in my hands, too. Overall, good purchase for those that are looking for a nice quality rope halter.

I bought this on sale for $9.99 and for that price, it can't be beat. It is a little bit stiff, but I would expect it to be so, since it is new. It isn't the same quality of rope that my other one is, it is 'slicker' if that makes sense. So when tied, it comes untied a little easier than the other one I have.
But for the price paid, I highly recommend it!

I LOVE this halter-- it is so sharp and the colors go so well together. It fits my yearling's head just perfectly, and has room for adjustment. It is very easy to slip on and off and he responds to it very well. I prefer to use this over a regular halter and lead rope when doing groundwork; this is all one continuous piece and you don't have to worry about snaps or metal pieces clanking around when trying to give cues.
