"I can't really evaluate the product because I couldn't get Cooper to consistently eat it - much to my disappointment. No amount of sweet feed, molasses or other treats could convince him!"

"My horse has Severe summer/pollen/dust allergies. Multiple vet visits and drugs. Started smartbreathe and within a week he feels a million percent better, cough is all but gone, NO DRUGS. Ran at a jackpot yesterday with tons of dust and allergens and he looked and felt great! This was my last "Try" of feed through supplements. Glad I gave it a chance!"

"Ed developed a cough after eating round bales during the winter. I felt terrible for him. He coughed 4 or 5 times in the morning and at night. So no telling how much when I was not around. I learned about smart breath from a very helpful customer service Rep. After about 3 weeks I noticed he coughed less and less every day. He has been on it for a full month now and every now and then ill hear a small cough but its an amazing improvement. I would recommend this to anyone who has a horse that has any type of coughing issues. Thank y'all Smart Pack!"

"This product has been excellent for my COPD saddlebred. He was diagnosed at 18yo after having a period of time with coughing and wheezing. Nothing but steroids had worked for him. We were getting him back into work just about the time he started wheezing and coughing so I was worried we wouldn't be able to work him heavily. Over the last 2 months he has been in moderate work with the SmartBreathe and he hasn't had any flare ups!!"

"My horse develops breathing issues almost every Spring accompanied by a cough. Even the slightest of workouts leaves him winded and his recovery rate is slow. I've tried several products, from vet prescribed antihistamines to herbals, and they either don't work or are so pungent that I can't get him to eat it which means I have to force it in with a syringe and that's messy and time consuming. Smart Breathe pellets have been an answer to my prayers. The pellets are palatable and look exactly like his grain so there's no picking through it but most importantly it works! He is completely cough free, has more air and increased stamina. If you're looking for a respiratory supplement, and are overwhelmed with all the choices out there, I highly recommend this product."
"The pony I've been using this product on has shown improvements in his cough. We had him scoped and everything was clear. He just always has a cough the first five minutes in his warm up. Since he has been on the smartbreathe the cough is getting less and less."

"My gelding has been using Smart Breathe for about 2 months now. He is completely off off his prescription meds. So far, So good ! He has not exhibited the return of any of the breathing problems he suffered from and seems to feel better without the "sluggish" side effects caused by the other meds. I hope this continues thru the hot and active months ahead !"

"My Buckwheat mule is struggling with a bad case of heaves. The natural support of Smartbreath was a last resort to give her relief. Though I don't believe they were any harm, they did not make her situation any better. After 6 weeks of using the pellets, I can see no improvement. She did not care for the taste and would only eat them when mixed with a lot of other pellets.
Smartpak is an easy company to do business with and the money back guarantee made these well worth the try. Still contemplating about where to go from here."

"I was able to feed these pellets by mixing them with applesauce and senior feed. Since the pellets were not palatable to my picky eater, I have switched him to the Smart Breathe powder. The powder has a different smell to it, but I also bind it with applesauce to a small amount of senior feed. The good news is, it DOES help his heaves! That is what is really important."

"I decided to put my mare on these pellets to help her recover from an respiratory infection. While she was already on antibiotics, I wanted her to have all of the support I could possibly give her. Within a few days on the pellets she was already coughing less, and she was breathing noticeably easier. She's sensitive to dust/pollen, so I decided to keep her on SmartBreathe- Best decision ever! No more wheezing, no more coughing, only easy breathing and a happy horse. Thanks, SmartPak!"
"A boarder of mine put her pony on this product about a year ago at my suggestion. He has COPD and used to need his hay soaked and ocassionally needed Ventipulmin if he was having a hard time breathing or was coughing a lot. Since starting Smartbreathe i can count the times i have heard this pony cough on ONE hand! I have not had to use his RX, and he eats it right up (he is picky!) If your horse has breathing issues of any kind, i would highly recommend this product!"

"She seems to like the SmartBreathe as she never turns it down. It's a great value for money & I really like the auto ship; saves me alot of red-tape. I don't think it has reached its full potential yet since she does not seem to be getting worse, but she is not tons better; but I am going to continue it & give it a generous chance- it is so much better than giving her shots all the time. If it keeps her healthy then it is well worth it !!"

"My 14 y/o gelding developed a deep worrisome cough back in November of 2012. My vet put him on a round of steroids to reduce inflammation and the cough cleared up instantly. However, after the steroids ran their course the cough soon came back. It go to the point where I couldn't even trot for more than 2 minutes without him coughing. We ran blood tests only to find there was nothing abnormal. After reading many reviews and suggestions from other horse owners I started him on Smart Breathe. After 2 weeks his cough was completely gone and still is today over a month later. I cannot thank you enough. We are back to our regular training schedule and he is comfortable and happy once again."
"Every year my mare develops a moderate cough when the winter round bales are used. My sister's horse has the same issue, we both tried the Smart Breathe and for both horses, the coughing was significantly reduced, and there is no labored breathing symptoms at all with either horse! They both like the taste. Thank you SmartPak for this helpful product."

"Right after I bought my gelding last fall he developed pneumonia, bronchitis and inflammatory airway disease (the latter a catch all dx since they really couldn't pinpoint the exact cause). He was stressed from shipping, new vaccinations, dental work etc.
Once I tapered him from the steroids and he finished his course of antibiotics I was looking for something to soothe his airway as we went into the winter months. This supplement seemed to fit the bill.
As my horse healed I felt he needed continued support to keep his airway stable and calm. So far so good, no cough, no wheeze. It is tough to know if the supplement is helping but I strongly suspect that it is. I do NOT want to take him off this supplement to find out."
