"I have a horse that has difficulty chewing, so I look for a treat that breaks apart easily and is not too big. As an added bonus, there is no added sugar. And being a small size, even a little bag holds a lot of treats."

"My horse loved these treats. I felt good about giving the treats to him with no added sugar, and he felt good about devouring them. Reasonably priced, and the bag lasted me several weeks. What more could you want?"

"My 16 year old half-Arab is IR. I was looking for treats for him while not having to spend a ton. These treats are great for horses who should not have extra sugar. I would recommend these treats to any horse owner who is seeking a cost efficient treat that isn't loaded on sugar."

"I was very satisfied with Peppermint Bits. They were smaller sized treats which made it easier for my horse to chew and also for me to sneak in my pocket for an after ride snack for him. They have a lovely aroma and he seemed to really enjoy them. I'm always looking for "natural" and healthier horse products and treats for my horse. While the bag isn't huge, it holds many little bits and pieces of peppermint treats which makes the bag last even longer! My horse seemed to enjoy them very much, he can be a little picky sometimes. I was very pleased!"
"I bought these for my horse who is in his mid twenties. They are great, they smell good and are easy for him to chew. I purchased the larger bag and its been lasting me awhile. I like the smaller size of the treat, its easy to grab a large handful. I highly recommend these. The price for the amount you get in the bag is definitely worth it. Next I'll be trying the carrot flavor!"

"I got these for my Fjord who has Cushings and IR. They're small, so I can trhow a handful right in with his feed. He eats them this way, but will not take them from my hand. Maybe his peppermint Pergolide has a stronger taste? My TB loves them! Good value, and because they're small one bag lasts a long time."
""snuff snuff....munch..chew...yumm! delicious! I must be the most loved horse ever to deserve this surprising morsel of sweetness!"
The above undoubtedly went through my horse's mind as she put her head down to eat her dinner. I added these no sugar peppermint bits partly "just because" and partly to ease the transition (i.e. possible dislike) of adding new supplements to her feed.
Everything went smoothly - she loves her other Smartpak supplements and she loves her sugar free peppermint bits!"
"This is one of the best treats out there for your horse and is good for them too. There is no sugar added. My horse is very finicky, and he has split out many treats., not this one. Best of all the price is right!"

"My gelding loves peppermints (or at least, he used to), but he had started spitting the hard candies out shortly before I had his teeth floated. I thought these wafers might be a more comfortable alternative. The first time I fed them, in his feed, he ate EVERYTHING except the treats! I guess he wasn't expecting the taste with his feed. When I fed them by hand, he loved them. After that, when I added them to his feed, he scarfed them right up. I've shared them with other horses and the barn, and even the goat and sheep! Everyone is a fan!!"

"I bought these for my quarter horse mare who really doesn't need the extra sugar but LOVES peppermint, and they're great! She likes the taste enough to ask for more, and I like that they're lower sugar. Plus they're small enough that I can "spoil" her by giving her three or four and in reality that just adds up to the same size as a lot of other larger cookies. My cat even tried to steal some!"

"My horse has Cushing's so it's very important to limit her sugar intake. These little treats smell so nice and minty that she doesn't even know they're good for her!"
"I love these treats because they are just the right size. Enough so that the horse can enjoy it but not so much that they have to stand there chewing forever. I love using these treats when trick training as they keep the horse engaged and happy, but don't distract from the lesson. The "No sugar added" sounds nice, but keep in mind it has molasses so it really isn't sugar free. Any horse that likes peppermint will like this treat and for the price they are well worth it."
"These treats are great! My horses love them, and the small size makes them perfect for rewarding good behavior. I use them for "carrot stretches" with one horse, and I don't worry if he ends up doing a bunch of stretches because each Bit is so small and sugar free. I also give a Peppermint Bit after putting the bridle on my horses, and now they practically bridle themselves. These treats work out especially well for that because they do not leave little chunks stuck to the bit that could irritate the horse's mouth and are hard to scrub off. These treats also leave the horses with good peppermint breath :)"
