"Even though this product seems to advertise itself as a calming type of supplement, when you read the label it says that it only replaces nutrients lost during stressful situations. I decided to try it anyway. Turns out, it actually seems to work really well. It serves to reason that if all the nutrients and vitamin levels in the horse are balanced, then he should be able to remain in balance mentally as well. My gelding is super picky and ate the pellets up no problem."

"My horse has major anxiety issues and would worry about the monsters lurking behind every leaf. He is a fantastic mover and really wants to please, so its sad that He hated standing at the crossties. For sure he would not be able to run when the tack trunk came alive and tried to eat him. But 1 month on exstress and he concentrates beautifully under saddle. He almost seems to think before exploding. Of course we have minor outbursts from time to time, but he is enjoyable again.

"I started to use this product on my very recent OTTB for horse shows and didn't notice a huge difference immediately. So, I changed to the SmartPak SmartCalm Ultra and that is where the difference became apparent. He became very easily agitated and super hyper. He also became very unfocused and even more spooky. So, I quickly stopped using the SmartCalm and returned to thet ExStress. I have noticed a big difference since -- he is a lot calmer and more focused. I swear by it!"

"By the way it was described, ". . . formuila to help your horse handle the stress of travel . . . ", I bought this item in order to calm my horse down. After receiving and reading the back label, turns out it's for replacing lost nutrients from being stressed. I was looking a prevention, this turned out to be an after-the-fact remedy."

"Have a mare with serious 'over active' reflexes even to sounds like the ripping of velcro. Tried other products, even in double dose: they had absolutely no effect. I feed half dose (1 scoop instead of 2) with good results. Will keep this mare on Ex Stress forever! The paste is terrific as well: did find the whole syringe made for a very zombied horse... half a dose worked equally well. She is 1000# but obviously sensitive."

"Great Product. Pellets look and smell much better than the powder. My horse is NOT spooky or nervous at all but he is on the mend from an injury and a 1200 mile move back home to a much cooler climate. His back and hips have been sore from coming back into work and he was stressing himself out when I asked for any type of collection work or even just long and low stretching work. This product brought more swing into his back and hips in only a couple of days. I have him on half the dose even though he is about 1350lbs and big warmblood body. The B vitamins just seemed to give him that little bit of muscle relaxation he needs to get him back in shape for show season! Thankful I tried this product, should have done it years ago when we started full-training!!"

"I have used Ex-Stress in powder form for my nervous horse for many years. It worked very well on calming and focusing her but the smell of the product was not very appealing and my horse eventually refused eating it. I was so happy when they came out with Ex-Stress in pellets. It works just as well on calming and re-focusing my horse and is definitely much more appealing to a picky eater. I love this new product and am glad SmartPak is now carrying it."

"I used the Ex Stress powder on my horse last year and it worked great, but the power smelled nasty and my horse didn't like it. She would eat around it (she is picky). I was glad to see that they came out with the Ex Stress pellets. I gave some to my horse in her grain and she ate them right up! The pellets are so much better. They don't smell bad, they aren't messy, and I know my horse will eat them."

"I was skeptical about this product as I have tried other products that were suppose to relieve stress in horses. However, this product really does work. I have an 18 year old thoroughbred who acts like he's 3 and in spite of being ridden daily, he has issues with going on a calming ride. This product works to take the edge off of my gelding so that we may both enjoy our trail rides. I would strongly recommend the pellets to anyone with a high-strung horse. The vitamins int his all natural product make it even more appealing."
