"We started our 14 year old quarter horse on this product. He has some arthritis and a injury on his foot from a tangle with barbed wire as a youngster. He was bought as a trail horse, and when we got him came out consistently lame. He had never been on a supplement before, but after about a month of being on this product he now comes out sound every time and has even started arena work and poles. His coat is shiny, he is much more sound and comfortable and his energy levels are always good. He has now been on the product two years and we have no intention of taking him off it!"

"I recently switched from SmartFlex II Support and was disappointed w/Grand Flex Senior. I have always liked and used the Grand Meadows products but I have to say "Smart Pak" wins this one for me. I am using Smart Flex in my upcoming Pak. Grand Flex is definitely a good product but Smart Pak worked better for both of my "guys""

"I have a 25 yr ld welsh cob gelding who has struggle with founder as long as I have had him. I was happy to find a product that wouldn't cause his founder to flare up. He has some arthritis in his hocks and stifles and he was scuffing his hind legs and was looking terribly awful. After I purchased this product I started him on it as soon as I could. After only one week he started trotting around and looks so much happier! Thanks for putting some bounce back in my old man."

"Zane will not eat his grain. I purchased the SmartPak to make it easier to put in his grain daily, and since I've begun putting the Grand Flex Senior, he has refused to eat. I have thrown out all of his grain. Now I am left with a hobbling, hungry horse. I have stopped putting the product in his feed. He is a picky eater, but nothing I do will entice him to eat this product in his grain."

"Please be careful regarding the cost of this product. The product does contain the same amount of the ingredients per dose, but the amount of doses is now fewer per container. In other words, 1 dose is now 1.5 oz, before 1 dose was 1 oz. So in a 10 lb container there are now 107 doses when before there were 160 per 10 lbs. So, cost per dose is now $1.50, before $1.25.
All information is from SmartPak's site which is much more complete than Grand Meadow's.
FYI, we have not yet used the "Improved" formula (star ratings not based on use of improved product, except for value, original would be more stars!). I hope that we are not forced to switch to a more expensive product!
The original which combines all that we like about Grand Flex Synergy HA and probiotics. We quit using probiotics and BL solution when we switched to Grand Flex Senior. Saved us money and seems to be working well for our 37 year old Thoroughbred."
