I have two Paso Finos. One is 12 years old and the other is 23. My younger horse needs hoof support and was showing odd clumps of hair that resemble a cushings coat. My older horse has joint stiffness and is prone to mild colic. I needed a supplement that I could to feed to both of them that would address all these issues. SmartCombo is that product. Both my horses now have shiny, show quality coats. They gobble up the pellets without hesitation and I have not had any gut issues to date. Best of all, my old man is running and playing like the youngin! People think he is half his age. I did give 4 stars for value but only because I wish it were cheaper. Comparatively it would cost as much or more to try to get all these great benefits from more than one supplement. Thanks to SmartPak, I don't have to do so.

This product is very expensive. I felt good knowing my horse was getting a lot of protection, but the only difference I saw was shine. Wish I could get my money back for this purchase because although it is a good product it didn't show enough results for the price.

My 20 year old Anglo Arabian is a very picky eater and he eats these pellets right up! I started him on this product in early April and he is just finally fully shed out for the summer. (It takes a little longer up here in the North) His color is darker than ever! He is a registered Liver Chestnut and his color is finally a true deep Liver Chestnut and his mane is as blonde as ever! I'm very happy with that side of things.. He has always had good feet, so no difference seen there. As far as the Joint area goes..He is also on injectable Adequan so he isn't stiff really ever but it's hard to know which product is responsible.. or maybe it's the combo of the two. Overall very happy with this product... might switch him to the Senior version.. but either way I'm sticking to a SmartCombo of some sort! Great job SmartPak!

After feeding my senior gelding this supplement, his coat looks light years healthier, his gastric upset has settled, and seems much less stiff starting his work! I'm wondering if they make this one for humans?? Way to go SmartPak!

Do you know how big is the biggest SmartPak? I do. And, you do too if you are a crazy horse mom like me. It is 7 wells. What to do when you want more than 7 wells? Either have more than one strip per day, or use a combo supplement like this that combines a couple of the supplements you use to make room in your SmartPak for everything you want. This is my first month using SmartCombo, and I ordered it without first having a taste test sample. My horse is not reliably picky. Some supplements he has not problem with. Some he won't touch. He is the same with treats. He turns his nose up at some that I think he would like and then like ones that don't look as good to me. I can't figure him out. Anyway, he is eating this fine. It is too soon to notice any difference, but since all the supplements that I stopped to put him on the Combo were by SmartPak, I think he will do fine on this and the change opened up more wells in my SmartPak.

My friend turned me on to SmartCombo for my 16-y/o TB gelding after noticing how I was feeding him several supplements for joint, hoof, and weight gain. I was using three different SmartSupplements, but didn't think about using SmartCombo. I only use a half-dose on my gelding, but he has really made progress in 6 weeks. Shiny coat, not stiff in the mornings after a cold night, and gaining weight nicely since he is such a hard keeper. Not to mention that he is actually keeping shoes on and not throwing them every other day like he used to. If he keeps this up over the summer I will probably start using this supplement on my 5-y/o half-Arab to keep him maintained.

So glad Smartpak came up with the Combo! I like to give all my horses Joint help and the digestion, coat, and hoof together make it the perfect combination. They are all shiny this spring and resting easy in the pastures. They all get ridden regularly and have great attitudes.

My Warmblood and My granddaughter's QH have now been on the SmartPak Combo pellets for exactly one month. After two weeks, we started getting comments from just about everyone about how great our horses look. Last week our Equine Chiropractor just couldn't help herself. As she was working on each horse individually she exclaimed, " She's soooo shiny and soft." That shine helped my granddaughter take High Point in the 13 & Under Age Group at a show last weekend!
Also, both horses have really filled in their top line, their weight is really good, and they both seem to move better and have good energy (sometimes too good.) Last year the QH mare lost significant weight about half-way through the season I'm sure due to the stress of showing. I am excited to see how well they maintain going into show season.
I also want to comment on how great the customer service is at SmartPak. Call them with question and they are really knowledgeable about their products and which ones are right for your horse.
I will be a customer for life!

I have a hard time finding the right supplement that has everything I want to cover. This product covers what I want for my performance horses. Preventative gi tract, joints and the omega's. Makes my job easier and my picky eater even likes it. My horses are fit and their coats are shiny.

I was feeding my gelding three separate supplements to get the coat, hoof, and joint support I wanted. Then I found out about Smart Combo pellets and was able to switch him over to just one supplement that was more cost effective and I was getting more for my money.

My mare can sometimes be a picky eater with some supplements. This supplement she ate with no problem. I originally purchased this product for both my horses but it will be expensive to feed to each of them each month so I'm deciding what to do. I may just keep my show horse on this and not continue to feed it to my 3 year old. Neither of my horses have issues but I was feeding it for preventative measures. Smarkpak customer service is always excellent and wonderful to talk to!!

I have a 14 year old OTTB mare who spent the majority (8+ years) in a broodmare field- to no success. When I got her, she moved well, but had probably not been on any type of supplement since she was on the track. She is also a hard keeper, not all that uncommon for TBs, and was having a hard time putting on weight (& muscle); she is also barefoot with pretty good feet.
All that being said, I was looking for a joint supplement and at the same time my farrier recommended a hoof supplement, if I wanted to plan on keeping her barefoot over the summer. After comparing joint and hoof supplements- I am the type to look at cost/day in smartpaks and buckets, as well as ingredients/$- I chose the SmartCombo. The cost/day for the joint and hoof alone wasn't all that far from the cost of the combo, and I thought having her on the SmartDigest couldn't hurt either. I essentially pay for 1/2 the cost of the SmartDigest and the SmartShine is pretty much free- an added bonus.
We're about through our 2nd round of Smartpaks, and Daphne is moving much better, her farrier is very happy with how the new hoof is growing in, she is putting on weight (FINALLY!), and her coat does look great- a fabulous added bonus.
I see us using this product until sometime when she will need more aggressive joint or hoof support, then we'll reevaluate using the Combo Ultra or separate supplements.

I was skeptical a first, but decided to "give it a go" for 3 months and "see how things went." After a little over a month, my horse's skin and coat is already softer and shines! We'll see how it helps his hooves, gut and joints later. :)

No complaints here! Love this product, my picky eater eats it, his coat even in the winter is soft and shinny, love having everything covered in one supplement! and very competitive levels of every active ingredients. Just a great product no gimmicks.
