"I have this pad in black and white. Nice mid-weight for every day use. I use in in lieu of a thinner baby pad under a leather pad. Small diamond pattern is attractive. It has a nice shape to allow for higher withers on my big guy. This pad washes well so far. I have not washed the black very much yet, so not sure about fading."

"These are great schooling pads. I use the pad, wash the pad and repeat. They fit well under my saddles and the straps keep the girth in place. Also the cloth weight is not heavy but yet still sweat thirsty. If Under Armor made saddle pads they might be something like this saddle pad. They aren't fancy but they do the job better than expected."

"Great saddle pad. I bought 2 when I realized how warn out my old ones were. I have already used mine several times and it seems to be holding up great and looks nice on my horse. I like that the underneath isn't white or the felt material you tend to see on saddle pads...I plan on just throwing these in the wash every so often as they get dirty."

"Nice pad. Colors are standard, and the hunter green looks nice on my grey. The pad is a little "stiffer" than my last one-- mostly at the withers, which is the only reason it gets 4/5 stars. This stiffness is likely due to the thickness of the pad and the weave. However, these are also pros, as they make the pad more durable. It's not overly thick at all, just not as flexible as I thought it'd be. Happy with my purchase overall-- can't beat the price!"

"This is my favorite saddle pad I have. I thought that I would get something really low end, but the fabric is soft and feels durable, It washes up great and was more padded than I expected. I think it's a very beautiful pad. I've only had this for almost a month so I can't rate it on durability, but it feels like it'll stick around for a while. I highly recomend this pad to anyone!"

"I love these pads for everyday riding. The material is soft and smooth but very durable and will stand up to a bit of abuse at the barn. Very easy to brush off the dirt and hair after a ride, and it's ready to go again. They wash well too, definitely a good pad to have around since they'll last for years. "I ordered this item as a gift and was very pleased with how it turned out (I got the item monogrammed and it looked great!) It is a nice, medium weight saddle pad that would work well for schooling or the show ring. You would want to use it with a half pad or another saddle pad on top for better comfort for your horse, but it is definitely more substantial than just a baby pad. The color was nice and the stitching seemed like it would hold up well. I can't comment on its durability, since I gave it to someone else as a Christmas gift and have not used it personally. I would definitely buy this item again for myself or as a gift."

"Just had to review this pad again- it is wonderful! Smartpak has the BEST customer service, they are willing to work with you on anything, including a custom embroidery job! The pad is stellar, just like the others we have bought- the embroidery is wonderful and the pad looks very elegant at shows. Cannot speak about the durability of the pad, since we only use these for show pads; however, they do wash clean (we pre-treat our white pads with stain remover before washing though) and look good as new after. We will continue to purchase more and more of these for each of our show horses until they all have one!!!"
