"The pad is alright, but appears to be made of the same material on the outside and the underside--not like the older version that had cotton on the outside and a nice, almost polartec fleece, underside. The other downside is how big and bold the SmartPak logo is on the left side, and the fact that they put my text on the right side. I wish the customization page would have said that's how the embroidery would appear. The Union Hills pad is nicer and a little cheaper."

"I have a custom saddle that is hard to find a saddle pad for. I have custom show pads to go with it, but finding a pad with a long enough spine that isn't dressage cut has been difficult. This pad is exactly the right size for my large saddle, i love it. My only complaint is that it ONLY comes in the white, i'd love another color option for it, something that might hold up to washings better. Perhaps just a very pale taupe or something similar. As is, the white doesn't stay as white as i'd like, but i'm not going to stop using it just because of that!"
