These are good quality spurs. However, they are a little harsher than I was anticipating. I wanted something a little stronger than my rounded english spurs, but gentler than roweled spurs.. I think the english roweled ones would be better. These don't help improve my horse's responsiveness, they just made him angry, swishing his tail and pinning his ears when I touch his sides with these. I'm keeping them, because they might come in handy in the future with other horses, but I can't use them on the horse that I bought them for.
