While I love my pair of tough rider knee patch winter breeches, the waist in these is higher up and tighter. And I prefer more of a low rise, really stretchable waist. Otherwise the material is comfy and sure to keep one warm.

I just recived my tuff rider winter full seat breeches, and I have to say they are very warm and fit just right. I am 5'5 and have long legs and they were just the right length. They have kept me quite warm at night during my lessons.

I am a small woman, I stand about 5'3 with a 24 inch waist, the size 24 was a bit tight on my waist and the leg area was extremely loose. The suede like material on the inner legs was quite bulky and the seams throughout the entire pant leg were very visible. They also covered half my ribs they were so high rise. Also, they are not tight or skinny, they are a little bulky at the bottom. I would not recommend these, but 9/10 times I love my Smartpak products, therefore, I'm going hunting for some new breeches!

Bought these for my daughter, who's difficult to fit because she's in between child and adult sizes. The 24R is a little big but will work.
My only disappointment with these is that the fabric started pilling without much wear; I hadn't even put them through the wash yet!
She says they're warm and is happy with them otherwise.

These are a good pair of winter-type breeches for the money. I ride in a heated arena, so I think if it was really cold I'd stick with regular full seats and a pair of long underwear. But to ride in weather that is 35F and above, these kept me warm, without the need of additional undergarments.
I ordered the medium. I wear a 28 long, and these were a bit snug in the legs, but the waist fit me fine and the length was OK for me, too. They stick well to the saddle.

Bought these breeches to keep me toasty in the freezing Boston winter. They didn't even keep me warm in 40 degrees riding indoors. Plus the full seat isn't made well so when standing they bunch around my butt and are not flattering.
I bought the Kerrits Sit Tight n Warm breeches instead and they're amazing. I'll be sending the Tuff Riders back.

First impression when putting on these full seat breeches was - cozy and comfy! And riding in them is just as nice. For the price and warmth, these full seat breeches are well worth the money.

These run a bit big, but for the price, they are not bad at all. the seat is not particularly "grippy", but then with fleece breeches, even if the breeches grip to the saddle, you can't really grip to the breeches. Style is nice too. But again! I would normally wear a medium, and I had to return them for a small.

These breeches have a stretch waistband that is too loose. I can't make it from the house to the barn without having to pull up my pants.
