"I purchased the halter, not so much for the snakeskin decor ( in fact, despite the pattern ) but it was on sale and a good value. When it arrived, I was very happy with its softness and quality of leather. Plus, the snakeskin part is subtle, thank goodness..... very happy I bought it."

"I was fortunate to get this halter on sale and was really pleased with the quality (it is well worth the full price but a great buy on sale). The leather & hardware are very nice quality and the "warmblood" size was a nice step up from the horse size without being enormous. My horse has been wearing this in turnout daily for about 8 hours a day and it still looks new."

"I bought this halter for my mare and it is absolutely beautiful! So beautiful in fact, I am saving it only for special occasions. The leather was super soft straight out of the box, and the snakeskin padding adds just enough flair to make it pretty and interesting, but not tacky at all. It looks to be a very well made and durable halter!"

"I got this for my black/bay HOL/TB mare, and the black-and-white snakeskin accent on this halter is just the right amount of embellishment for her. The leather is soft, the padding is nice, and the chrome hardware is an appropriate addition. She looks quite elegant in it, and not too "duded up". The leather was much more supple than I would have expected at this moderate price point. It was a good buy."

"Got this halter for my new horsey! As an every day halter (not used when he is turned out) hes 17'3 and has a teeny head but the oversize fit PERFECT. I also purchased the human equivalent and we look so K-UTEE. although I was iffy about the snakeskin padding (possibly being cheap and stiff) It was actually softer than leather! he loves it!!!! and it was SO soft right out of the box!!! it matches so beautifully with the name bracelet and the brass unlike other halters has no marks or wear after two months! (on the bracelet or the halter) And the bracelet is out in the open tack room! If you want your halter to be softer than butter than uses Antares tack conditioner! Its awesome!"
