Like most plus-size clothing, this jacket is cut longer in length and more generously in girth than the equivalent size in non-plus. I was right on the borderline between two sizes on the size chart and the smaller one fits great. My other jacket from another maker pulled across the bust and showed too much behind and it did not give an elegant appearance. I was happy to find the FF jacket covers everything and still has some shape to it. It is nice enough that I would consider wearing it as a blazer in a non-horsey setting. The fabric is medium weight and will work for all seasons. The sleeves are long enough for my long arms. The only thing not perfect is the armholes are bigger/lower than I'd like. They would be good for a lady with large upper arms. Also the material has no stretch to it but that's to be expected with 100% wool. Overall a nice jacket and I will feel good wearing it in the show ring.
