Life Data Barn Bag vs Mega-Cell

Is Mega-Cell anything like Life Data Barn Bag? if not do you have anything that is similar to Barn Bag for putting weight on horses but more economical.

Thanks for your question. Mega-Cell is a vitamin and mineral supplement intended to meet the nutritional needs of horses who are receiving just grass hay or pasture. Barn Bag is slightly different as it is designed to balance hay and/or pasture diets, as well as horses that may be receiving whole oats as a source of calories. However, neither of these supplements alone provide weight gain ingredients. I have rescued horses that were severely malnourished. The best product I have found to add weight safely is Ration Plus. Initially, I contacted the manufacturer & was told to double the amount for the first month or two. I was amazed not only how quickly the horses gained weight, but also the quality of their hair & how shiny it became. This is a Prebiotic which helps the horse utilize all the hay he eats. I did not feed any of these horses grain or any type of pelleted feed, only good quality alfalfa & grass hays.
