Customer questions and answers for Body Builder

Question

Do you have to mix with food or can you inject orally?

My horse is on pasture and is losing a lot of muscle in his older age. He is with other horses and we know that other horses eat his food sometimes. I was wondering if Body Builder is okay to be injected into his mouth via a syringe instead of poured into his food.

Thanks for your question. If your horse is fed in a herd and you’d like to ensure that he is getting the full amount of Body Builder, it can certainly be given via oral syringe. The recommended serving size is 15ml per day for horses over 300lbs. Since the serving size is so small, it could also be poured onto a small amount of grain and given as a treat.
