My Mare, Ruby, is on Platinum Gastric Support
This product helps maintain stomach and hindgut health. Are you familiar with this product? If so, would Neigh-Lox or SmartGut Ultra or any other supplement produce the same or better results? I need to send your response to my Vet, Dr Corkran, for his review as my Ruby does not like the taste of this product. I have to add molasses, the gastric support product, and water to her Buckeye Gro N Win pellets to get her to take it--and she shouldn't have molasses in her diet as she has the cresty neck and fatty deposit on her tail head which I'm told are indicative of insulin resistance. Further she is an easy keeper. Thank you

Thanks for your question. Neigh Lox Advanced provides support for both the stomach and the hindgut, similar to the Platinum Gastric Support. SmartGut Ultra is clinically proven to help maintain stomach health and is backed by a university research study at Louisiana State University; however this formula is focused on gastric health and does not provide hindgut support. Both of these products come in a pelleted form, which is great for picky eaters like Ruby! Depending on her specific needs, one of these formulas may be a better fit for Ruby.
