If you read the ingredients list, you will see that none of those are in this product. This is an anti-inflammatory supplement, not a traditional joint supplement. You seem to be searching for something from the Smartflex family - see recommendation.

Thanks for your question. SmartTLC does contain the herb Devil’s Claw, which is listed as a forbidden substance under USEF rules. Therefore we do not recommend using this supplement for horses who show in AQHA or USEF competitions. For competitive horses, we suggest choosing a joint supplement without any herbal ingredients, such as SmartFlex Senior Herb-Free.

While we are not aware of any issues regarding the herbs in this formula and horses with Insulin Resistance, every horse is an individual and may respond differently to supplements in their diet. We would suggest working with your vet regarding whether or not this supplement would be appropriate for your horse.
