yes, they can be fed together and there is no biotin in SmartOmega 3, so you aren't doubling up on anything.

Yes, you can give SmartOmega3 with Biotin Plus. It would probably work great in conjunction with the biotin. The fish oil and flax seed in SmartOmega3 contribute to a healthier horse over-all. I have a horse with a SmartPak similar to the one you have listed, and he is on SmartOmega3. The extra omega 3 fatty acids seem to help him greatly with mobility, skin, and hoof and coat quality.

I don't think this will specifically repel flies or no seeums, but it will definitely help with any coat issues! My horse had terrible fungus issues and feeding him SmartOmega3, which is high in anti-inflammatory Omega 3 fatty acids, really helped me win the battle against his skin and coat issues. As a bonus, it made him shiny, his tail and mane grew a lot, and my farrier said his feet were great!

If your horse has dry, brittle, or cracked hooves, we’d suggest a supplement like SmartHoof Pellets instead. Both the SmartOmega 3 and SmartHoof Pellets may be given with SmartDigest.

Both products contain the same ingredients, however the SmartOmega 3 Ultra has higher levels of each ingredients (with the exception of Leucine, which is higher in the SmartOmega 3). Which is why SmartOmega 3 Ultra costs $10 more than SmartOmega 3.
