I don't think this will specifically repel flies or no seeums, but it will definitely help with any coat issues! My horse had terrible fungus issues and feeding him SmartOmega3, which is high in anti-inflammatory Omega 3 fatty acids, really helped me win the battle against his skin and coat issues. As a bonus, it made him shiny, his tail and mane grew a lot, and my farrier said his feet were great!

I would recommend Smart Bug Off rather than this. It works great with flies, has anti inflammatory, and many other benefits to help keep your horse comfotable.
